Got to go to this place if you are ever in travers city. Very cute and very good, has those real vintage burger joint vibes. Stunning experience.

Oakwood is our favorite burger place! If you love an olive burger the Oliver Twist is amazing! Great atmosphere and great food combine to provide you an old town, home experience. Hand cut fries, amazing breakfast as available and very personable staff! If I could give 5000 stars I would!

We have never had a bad experience at Oakwood. Their burgers are top-notch, fries are portioned to share and delicious, and the milkshakes are completely indulgent. On our most recent visit, we partook in their inaugural participation in TC Restaurant Week, and it did not disappoint. They served up savory street corn, incredibly flavorful steak frites, and finished off with Mexican wedding cake. The staff is always pleasant, and it's apparent that they take pride in their work. When the weather is warm, the outside dining area is super cute, and with a local brewery opening a second location next door, that only adds allure to the location. Take-out is always a great option too!

Hand Cut Fries
Our burgers were delicious, made with quality beef, fresh ingredients, and bakery bun. The French fry portion was huge - easily shared by 3 people. Great vibe, and the staff was truly amazing - personable and so accommodating. We were a large group, and they serviced us flawlessly. 100% recommend!

Oakwood had some big shoes to fill since Hambone was a local favorite, but they absolutely nailed it. Their burgers are wildly delicious, the service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is on point. They have a decent little selection of beers too if you're in the mood. Oakwood has been a great addition to Traverse City.
