Our waitress's name was Estefany and she was super nice. She was very friendly and acted as though she at least didn't mind being there working. So many kids or young people have bad attitudes when working that this was refreshing to see. We chose the shrimp something with breaded shrimp, onions and peppers with dipping sauces while we waited(sorry, forgot pic). Then we chose spaghetti with meat sauce in pic 1, lasagna classico in pic 2 and cheese Ravioli with meat sauce(forgot pic of soup- pasta e fagioli) in pic 3. Pic 4 is the end of our salad and pic 5 is 1 breadstick left in its napkin wrap. Estefany put as much shredded cheese as we wanted on our soup, salad and main dishes. She was as attentive as we hoped she'd be, it wasn't excessive or not enough, but just right. Our glasses of water were kept full. The food- the salad was just slightly soggy because of how much dressing was on it, but it was still good to eat. The breadsticks.... yummy garlicky and so soft mmm. The appetizer was pretty good and worth it. Just enough breading so it was crispy, but not greasy. My daughter said her soup was good. It was good enough that she got her free second bowl. We filled up on our unlimited salad and breadsticks (and soup) and were too full to try our entrées. Estefany brought us more breadsticks per our request, but we were too full to eat anymore and brought them to our hotel to enjoy tomorrow for lunch or supper with our entrées. We haven't been to olive garden in almost 20 yrs because the closest one is about 2 hrs away. I was excited to get to go again while on vacation in pigeon forge Tennessee. Based on this experience with our awesome waitress, good food, great(minus the girl a few tables away "secretly" vaping) peaceful and mostly quiet atmosphere I would highly recommend Olive Garden. My Husband and I have been here a few times now we usually go when it's slow, weekdays around 2 or 3. The last few times we have had awful service the food is great though. I'm not sure if it's management or tourists, but most of the servers there lack hospitality and friendliness. The staff seemed very tense every time we've been and like I said we go when it's slow so I think it's more noticeable. Food was great though! We usually preferred to eat there but this time the experience was not good. Food wasn't that great Maybe we went very late and the kitchen was about to close. But I gave the additional start for service just because of the girl working at the Receptionist, she was trying her best to get our order placed before the kitchen closes. First time I have ever went to a restaurant and never received my meal. Well we love Italian food but we never get to go out to eat much cause both the wife and myself work extremely long hours. wife got the soup and salad I ordered soup with my meal. after 40 minutes I never received my meal had to ask server to remove the charge for food I never received. only maybe 10 tables in restaurant so it wasn't busy. just bad server she only once came around asked how everything was but that was only 20 minutes into visit. at the 40 min mark i looked at bill seen i was getting charged just as she came to ask how things were. an experienced server would visit table to ask how my dinner was. No manager ever came to visit no discount on meal nothing just sorry we will not charge you for the meal we never gave you. Nice restaurant with great service, but the food preparation inadequate. We ordered egg plant parmesan that comes with the regular salad and the bread sticks. The salad was good, and the bread sticks also, but the egg plant slices were overdone - burned to hard pieces. A little more attention to the food preparation would be good and would leave the customers well satisfied. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
