It’s all about the food preparation and presentation and that recognition favors Russ, the head cook! All our food arrived well plated, fresh and hot. Those potatoe pancakes are the best around, even better than the Polish restaurant up the street. Turkey plate, country fried steak plate were so good. And to Nancy, our rockstar server, who deserves a thank you for working and serving well. Last but not least, Debra, the hostess with the mostess. Great personality and caring individual in the front matters to all who enter this Perkins. We went to Perkins for breakfast, the food is always good, but this particular time was a little different... The food was great, but the service from our waitress Stephanie was on point. She had a great personality, the food was delivered fresh, an in a timely manner. She was a breath of fresh air... We're definitely coming back and requesting her. We stopped in for a meal before heading out to see a show. We were pleasantly surprised! There was no wait on a Friday eve. We were seated immediately and our server was quick, attentive, and friendly. I had forgotten how delicious Perkins was! We were too full to dessert there, so we took ours to go. We will be back! Service wasn't too bad. I would have preferred fresh brewed iced tea over fountain iced tea. Food was okay. I appreciate accepting my AAA for a small discount on my tab. The women's bathroom could use a major upgrade. Two of the three bathroom stalls are very tiny for an above average person. The sink was slanted down from the front.
