I wouldn’t call this a hole in the wall since it’s pretty much always packed, but the food is usually good. We’ve visited 3 times, and out of everything we’ve tried, we either really like the dish or barely want to finish it. For example, the lemongrass dishes are super flavorful and authentic, but the beef stew is overly sweet and fatty when it was described as being savory/spicy. The pho is amazing, but the street noodle stir fry could barely hold onto its sauce, so it tasted like... plane rice noodles. I think the atmosphere is the best part of this restaurant. It’s bright, always packed and lively, and the parking is limited so it almost seems exclusive. There are better and more convenient options in town, but this spot is good overall. I’m so glad I decided to stop by and try it. The beef pho was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful. It was so good, I took it to go in a cup to finish drinking the broth. I also tried the Buffalo wings. Loved them. They weren’t spicy in my opinion, not like ordering hot wings were the sauce is acidic. These were very well spiced with seasonings if that makes sense. And they didn’t leave that acidic burn afterwards, which I liked:) I’ve been looking for an authentic Vietnamese restaurants since I grew up with my Vietnamese Aunt taking me to every hole in the wall restaurant or festival back in Clearwater, Fl.
