Finding this gem was a pleasant surprise on my trip to Duluth! My partner and I were craving Vietnamese food and had to stop by. I wasn't too hungry, so I only ordered the spring rolls and a Thai milk tea. The spring rolls were great, and the dipping sauce was a little bit spicy, which I enjoyed. We came on a Saturday around 2pm, and even then it got pretty packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait for a table, but we had snagged the last available table at that point. A true gem if you are in Duluth. Fair pricing. Large portions. Amazing flavor. The broth is excellent. Even coming in only a few minutes before close everyone was very nice and did not rush our table at all. Okay, let me start by saying parking is extremely challenging It's so tight it's almost an accident waiting to happen. When we walked in we were sat and greeted by a woman who gave us all water and said our server would be with us shortly. The server came a young man and he asked what we wanted to drink, so my family member both ordered their drinks and for our appetizers, we ordered the fish meatball skewers and shrimp spring rolls. Things started to take a turn for the worse when I asked my server if they had lemonade, and he said no. I then asked if they had bottles of water and our server said no. Instead of telling me what they had to offer since this was my first visit he just looked at me. So I kindly asked for the menu again so I could see what I wanted to drink. So we placed our orders and I ordered the chicken curry with shrimp, and my girlfriend ordered the Chicken Pho with Shrimp. And for my drink, I ordered the strawberry smoothie with no boba I told our server I didn't want any gellies in my drink. The food came out the appetizers were mediocre and the spring rolls while good were very small compared to many other Asian restaurants I've been to. The spring rolls looked like they should have been on a kid's menu. The chicken curry would have been a lot more enjoyable had it not been for the huge pieces of chicken in my bowl. I had to try to cut the chicken and not spill anything on me which was a challenge. Also, we had to constantly ask another server for things and she would bring them and tell our server, not sure if he was new but the service was subpar at best. Wow! The pho was sooo good! I have had pho all over and this is the best! My husband and I had to try it because ive hesed great things about it. We had the fried rice and chicken wings too. Both were very good as well. I've decided that each time I come to Duluth, we have to come back here. The food was delicious. Service was great. Decor was nice. The only drawback was parking, which was not so great. There’s limited parking up front, then there are very small lot in the back for additional parking. Definitely worth the trip. I was traveling from Florida with a buddy on a fishing trip and decided to try this place especially because we needed something to warm us up. I ordered the fresh roll and crab cheese to start. Both appitizers were delicious. I also had their combination Pho. The beef broth is great and not powder. It had plenty of meat, a bit more than expected. The waiter was friendly. He understood everything we wanted and ordered. The pho was great and a decent amount. I had the short rib platter. It's a bit too much rice, but the short ribs were tasty! They flavored it very well like Korean short ribs. The chicken pad Thai was unfortunately not good. The noodles were a bit bland. Overall, it was a good experience. Fantastic food and service. The amount of food you get is amazing for what you pay. The staff are friendly and helpful. They get really busy from time to time. The parking is very tight and there is not a lot of parking. We like to order takeout because it's easier to order ahead on the phone and show up when it's done. Overall, it's a great place to eat. I recommend the chicken curry and rice that's one of my favorites. We stop in close to once or twice a month. I have lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis… been to 100’s of Vietnamese restaurants. I also cook a lot of Vietnamese food. I can’t believe how good the food is here. I might as well not cook anymore. Had the short rib rice platter - excellent. The lime marinated salad was delicious. Banh Mi special was amazing. The special vermicelli was excellent. My only suggestion is more fish sauce for the vermicelli dish. Boba tea was good. I told my friends and family and at least 5 friends/family have taken a trip to Duluth to try them out.
