Pirrone’s serves up pizza that is delicious and cravable. The restaurant is both unpleasant and flavorless. However, the pizza is acceptable. The waiter who has darker hair displays rudeness. It's understandable why they struggle to find and retain employees. The cook should be dismissed, especially after serving crunchy noodles that were noticeable on the plate. I requested to speak with the manager, but was informed they were “busy”. It feels like a waste of $100. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

On carry out both of the staff (two kind girls) where here quick and efficient and gave good friendly customer service, there food has never been my favorite but I'll eat it without a problem BUT My parents would most likely say it there #1 favorite pizza spot. And also seem to love their salads but even more their salad dressing. Nice local spot to have a little down the road. One of the few phenomenal North County Pizza places left, out of many. Pirrones is a staple. I have never had a bad pizza from here. I could go on for days about how good this place is. Just stopped in for a glass of wine because I had some time to kill. The food everyone else ordered smelled delicious, and I plan to try it out in the future. However, the wine selection, is not good and I think, as a restaurant in general they are missing an opportunity to showcase how well wine pairs with good Italian food. Additionally, there is no bar, so I sat at a table by myself to have a glass of wine, which was... whatever it was. So, if you want to eat, my nose thinks you'll be happy but, meeting a girlfriend for a glass of wine, probably not the place. Great pizza and salad. Waitress was very attentive and kind. Constant draft throughout the restaurant. It was cold that night, but it was hard to stay warm in that place lol. Great choice though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

First time we have been dissatisfied with our food. We did a carry out order. We ordered the special house salad with no onion and dressing on side. Got home and full of onion and salad had sooo much dressing on it that the lettuce was wilted and had no taste.. ended up thinking rowing it away... 11.00 down the drain... In town for work from KC and wanted authentic STL style pizza. This place was recommended to me and man was it worth the wait. Ordered a regular supreme pizza and could only finish half of it! My waitress was awesome and the pizza was thin and crispy with the toppings piled high! Thank you again for a great all around experience! Loved this place!! Kept seeing it pop up on the top of best of lists and had to try it. Reminded me of st Louis style pizza how it used to be. Cheese and sauce melded to become one and so good!! Great tasting pepperoni and sausage like the old days. They don't seem to be hurting for business, but they sure could use some help. Service was amazing, I forget the servers name, but she was great. For 2 servers for the entire place , she may have had 20 tables. Can't knock stars off for someone so clearly juggling so much work. Our server was friendly and very attentive. She always made sure that our drinks were full, and if we needed anything else. The Toasted Ravioli appetizer was delicious. Crispy and crunchy outer texture, and on the inside there was a warm flavorful meat filling. The meat tomato dipping sauce was delicious to dip the fried raviolis into. We also ordered a large Pepperoni Pizza. It was delicious, but we did not like the cracker-like crust. The cheese mixture, pepperoni and the red sauce were delicious.
