I used to come here often, and used to enjoy it a lot but my most recent visit was quite disappointing.The Pesto Fantastico Pizza (pictured) I ordered did not look "Fantastico". The crust was burnt and the cheese was a putrid yellow. It also tasted a bit rancid. Thankfully the waiter was nice and took it off the bill and I got something else instead. Been many times, food usually above average except last evening. A friend and I went around 5:00. I ordered the Conyak Chicken. The gravy was fantastic but the chicken was way over cooked and tough., plus I had the most tasteless Long Island Ice Tee I've ever tasted. Split the buffalo chicken wrap and tortilla soup with a friend - we were each sufficiently satisfied and left feeling like our hunger was resolved in a rejuvenating way! The service was on point, the atmosphere was amazingly cozy yet of a higher standard, and the overall experience was a huge hit for our group! The fish and chips were also shared among the table which did not disappoint. Big fan of this restaurant and the environment that the staff maintains at the Pourhouse. 10/10 will be making this a new hangout/meeting spot from now on & I recommend this place to anyone in search of good food and dining ambience! Love coming to Pourhouse. This was the first time for lunch, the only difference was less crowds, but the food is great, with lots of options, from burgers, pizza, sandwiches, fish & chips and more. There is also a great beer selection. I always get the Maxline Peach Mango IPA. Good food for the most part, especially during busier times. Good to great service typically. The nachos with steak are amazing! Wings could be better. We have been to Pourhouse many times & have had a good experience. At times food was better than other times. However, yesterday (1/23/24) was an awful experience!! My Cobb Salad was just a bunch of leftover looking iceberg lettuce pieces, very tough chicken with zero taste & some cheese. NOT at all what the menu says!!! The cost was $16.99!! My husband had a very dried out, too well-done (ordered medium well) hamburger & hard as a hockey puck. Just a handful of fries. He ordered a coke, I had water. Bill was $41!!!!! The waiter was not nice, unfriendly & didn’t seem to care about us even being there. He didn’t ever say thanks for coming in or any other acknowledgment when we paid our bill. We ate here on a whim. Glad we did. Our server was great, attentive to our needs. She was patient with allowing us to figure what we wanted from the tap. The food was good, including the Mac & cheese and onion rings... Good enough we forgot to take photos! The sandwiches were full of meat and filling.
