Mid-afternoon meal. Service was slow. We had two sodas and iced tea. All tasted flat or off. BBQ ribs full rack were meaty and very good. Two shrimp meals were under sized (6 & 8 count). Wife wanted to come here for date night. Reserved a table but ended up at a table near the cold front of the restaurant. Wish we had a booth. I ordered the French onion soup which was great. I also ordered the fried shrimp basket which was tasty but little pricey in my opinion. My wife ordered the bbq burger with sautéed onions which was a 50 cent extra charge. So was the seasoned sour cream that she didn’t want because she asked for a coleslaw but got fries instead. Thankfully the manager or other waiter fixed the order. We both wanted the crème brûlée but they were out so we decided on the butter toffee cake which was good. There was only one waiter on our side that I saw and she was quite busy so we didn’t get to order in until 10-15 mins. She did great getting us our drinks but the Diet Coke tasted watered down. Overall it was a good experience. I can see why Pub 42 is always busy but it’s a little pricey in my book. Will consider trying it again. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I went on a weekday (Wednesday) around 6:25PM. The parking lot was at full capacity. Luckily, just as we were pulling in, a car was backing out. That was pure luck. I believe if that hadn’t happened we’d have to park in the far back. When we got in, we were greeted right away and then lead to our table (Dining Room). They do have a spacious bar side too! I ordered a margarita and Chicken Alfredo Pasta! The drinks came within two minutes. The Margarita came with this black mold or dust inside the glass. Also inside the bottom of the glass. Didn’t see our waiter. But I managed to flag down a different one and she replaced my drink with a clean regular one. The food came within (guessing🤔) maybe ten to fifteen minutes! Very appealing 😋! The bowl was hot, the pasta was steamy and very creamy! Just how I like it. The chicken was the perfect size, wasn’t too big nor too small. Usually whenever I go out to dinner I leave with extras. But bbayybbbee when I tell y’all I ate EVERY SINGLE LAST BIT!! Also not to mention the price was VERY reasonable! Even though the parking lot was jam packed, the inside still had room! The atmosphere wasn’t too loud either. I can’t remember if they had music playing or not. Definitely coming back and recommending!! P.s. Yes, it was my first time! If I could give six stars to Pub 42, I would. First and foremost, the menu is vast and it has a lot of unique options that you wouldn't find at most other restaurants. One perfect example of many would be the deviled eggs which are served with two strips of bacon. This appetizer was simply amazing! Second, the servings are large and the food quality is phenomenal. I ordered the turkey dinner which came with a significant amount of Turkey fresh cranberries and mashed potatoes with gravy and stuffing. Third, the service was outstanding as I never had to ask for anything and to me that is a win. ***Stopped by late last week and got a cup of chili and prime rib. Simply amazing as always. I ordered the turkey, mash potatoes & gravy. The turkey was dry, and there could have been more gravy. The fish on the other hand, was Fantastic. Prices were a little high for the portions.
