The food portion for the price was terrible. The flavor was decent. The service isn't the staffs fault it's the model the owner picked. Very little check ins had to track someone down for water refills. It's a beautiful space though. I would personally not go back. Very good food! Everything good as we asked! Pricing is a little high since you only get one side with your meal HOWEVERRRR there was more than I expected I was able to take food home. My family and I are no stranger to this place. Tonight we came celebrating my cousins birthday (along with some others behind us) It was about 9-12 of us so of course we ordered a lot of food. We had a lot of issues with different orders but thank God for the manager Zandra tonight! She literally made everyone alright in no time! She didn’t hesitate to fix any of the issues we had. No one fussed at her we literally just told her what was wrong with the orders, she took them back (several times) and then just bought them back out! We even gave her a piece of birthday cake because she was so nice!! I’ve been in management for 18+ years and I love the way she handled things tonight! Zandra thank you so much for how you took care of my family and I tonight!! Don’t forget I live across the street and will be back!!! Loved! Storm was amazing in helping guide me in my entrée choices. I loved it so much I went back to try the brunch. It was even better! I highly recommend RA Bistro in Lynchburg. I ordered the salmon with brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes for dinner and for brunch I had a vegetable frittata and a side of French toast. The French toast was absolutely ridiculous. We first came here almost a year ago and started coming frequently, spending well over $130 on average (happily). But for the last several months the quality and service has gone completely downhill. I was a huge fan of the fettuccine chicken alfredo. But the last time I ordered it, it was completely different, half the size, dry and lukewarm. It used to look so beautiful and taste incredible. This time it was the quality of a microwaved TV dinner. My husbands steak that he ordered medium came out burnt. We also tried to be understanding about the slow service from our server, but after taking forever and still not refilling our drink (we never got one the whole time) she never offered dessert, or refills and just brought the check. I don't know why the owner or manager (whoever) thinks that people won't notice if they completely stop trying, and cut the quality of the food in half, because the most loyal customers do. And even new customers will be disappointed. I thought I found a restaurant that doesn't cut corners and stays consistent before. But I was wrong, and will not be back. A spot that has been around for awhile. It's good for big groups as it is spacious. In the past they had live shows and special nights like Wine Down Wednesday. Having gone back after a few years the food is okay to pretty good. The portion sizes are good, but the flavor is okay. There is a good selection of beers but the cocktails, for the price, aren't worth it. Overall, if you have a big group the menu has a variety of dishes so it's a good place to go.
