Our first time here and it was okay. I had the sausage combo and the sausages we great. The sides were meh- beans and mac-n-cheese. My partner had brisket, rib, and pulled pork combo. All okay but nothing above average. Photo of sausages which were the highlight and very good and clearly fresh, homemade. Nice snap to them! Gosh, I was just going over some old photos and I ran into some pictures of the best BBQ ribs I've ever had in my 50 years. I clearly recall reading about Red State BBQ and making it one of my go to places to visit in Kentucky. I entered and found myself a nice spot. The young lady behind the counter suggested the perfect beer for my ribs. Exquisite combo! The sauce was delicious and the ribs dissolved in my mouth. The bean and mashed potato side combo were also fantastic. Love when a place lives up to the hype. The food tasted great, the employees were nice too. I enjoy how stylized the walls were and I got to add Milo from the band The Descendents. :] I hope to come back if I come up to see Blink-182.
