What a wonderful surprise it was to find Redbird BBQ in Port Neches! I got the 1/4lb sampler, and everything was spectacular! The brisket was juicy with the perfect amount of smoke. The ribs were falling off the bone and the sausage? YEP! Way too much food for one, but I'll be eating well for days! It's run by the about the nicest folks I've ever met in a BBQ place. (Also, the prettiest girls I've ever seen behind a carving station) This is a MUST GO if you are anywhere within 100 miles of here!

We waited about an hour in line. But worth the wait! Food & service was really good. Prices seemed high. But what isn't nowadays. We'll be back!

Finally got to try this place I've been eyeing, and let me tell you, it totally lived up to the hype! Best BBQ ever, and I'm quite the food connoisseur. Totally worth the drive from Dallas! I went to school in Port Neches and I have to stay it’s amazing that redbird is there now and the owners and everyone was so friendly, southern hospitality for sure.

Great BBQ. Service was slow, but friendly and methodical about serving only highest quality cuts. I liked the fatty brisket over lean. Sausage was good especially with cheesy potatoes or mac'n'cheese. Great sauce. Would go back to try ribs if I'm ever in town for work again.
