The food and beverages here are quite good. The service was also great however I can't remember our server. If there's a wait they will sometimes let you sit in the bar. Edit 5 Feb 2024: Ordered takeout yesterday. I got a reheated steak from yesterday, passed off as a fresh steak. was not the med rare I ordered (no pink at all) it had obviously been soaked overnight in Au jus to keep it moist. My wife and I have not been to the Rodeo steakhouse in over two years, Because of a bad meal. So we thought we would give it a try, sorry we did that we ordered calamari to Start with, hear comes our salad. So we start to eat it and hear comes The calamari real crunchy so we push the salad back and try the calamari. Not good a few bites and hear comes main course, we never got to the salad had a few bites of calamari, my wife ordered tender loin I had a new York. Both were burnt on top the new York was tough Very disappointed same with my wife's, so we will never ever go back!! 12/23/23

Steak & Prime Rib very good, as well as salads, rolls, roasted Risemary Potatoes and Golden Onion. I'll tell you about the Chocolate Cake later because we were too full to taste it yet. For as high as it is rated I found it to be disappointing, the chili was just warm, had a strange flavor, the portions for the price did not ad up, even the appetizer that were good were small in size for the price, the bathroom had no toilet paper and even worse within an hour after eating there, I almost did not make it into my bathroom. It was not all bad, the stuffed mushrooms were good, the waitresses, were great, but sorry I won't be returning or recommending it. No peanuts was disappointing. My steak was brought out and made incorrectly....had to be sent back. Child's ribs were pretty crispy and our garlic mashed potatoes were NOT good. No flavor and the consistency of pudding! The chicken tortilla soup was spicy, but not much flavor otherwise. This used to be my favorite place to eat on the coast, was excited to eat there while visiting the area. Very disappointed. Susie was the SWEETEST server ever, especially to little kiddos. The whole vibe of the place and the 60's music was just great! Lots of fun things to look at and something on the menu for everyone. The lemonade was SUPER sweet, like pure juice without lemonade which was a bummer and the online menu on their website has lower prices than their actual in-store prices, but they still didn't give us the online menu prices. The integrity of that seemed a bit low to me. When you order a full rack of ribs expect a REALLY long rack of meaty ribs. I got the half and thought it was my husband's whole rack that he had ordered. Overall it was fairly clean, very friendly atmosphere, fun music in the background and about average prices for quality. I'm pretty sure the rack I got was pork even though I thought I was ordering beef so if that bothers you just be sure to check first. We called ahead and reserved and were seated within minutes of walking in. The outside is super cute with grapes and fruit trees growing and a small fish pond with cute signs around.
