Went there last night, ordered a beer at the bar and closed the tab. Then sat outside and never got served. I walked back in the bar to order all my drinks last night. The bar tender was nice, but a man sitting next to me annonced that I wasn't getting served outside. (I didn't say anything, I don't know why he did) but an employee there named Lisa got mad and claimed I was not being served because I opened a tab at the bar.. I told her that was not true, I paid for one beer and waited outside to get served. Lisa became very argumentative with me and claimed she watched me all night, and that's why she wouldn't serve me.. that was worst service I ever expirenced in tupelo. I'm never coming back here after that.. thanks Lisa.. after leaving a review on Facebook, I was blocked.. very professional of them! Food: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Very nice and friendly local hangout. Excellent music space outside on the patio. Cheerful bar staff with good drinks (even the hard to find Blanton's mixed in with the other Buffalo Trace bourbons.) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff was obviously overwhelmed and it showed. I ordered all sides for dinner. Mac and cheese was the stand out. The grits tasted like the ones you get out of the box. Very dry texture. The garlic mashed potatoes were awful. The fried greened tomatoes were entirely mushy. I bill was nearly 37 dollars. The only reason I didn't say anything was because it would have mortified my friend. Not what it used to be. Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I really enjoyed my drinks, fried cheese and burger from Romie's. I believe when we visited, they were a little under staffed. There was a big party there and we had to wait a little longer than I expected for the food. Everyone was real nice and we completely understand about the under staffing. I do suggest that if there is a band playing to ask to sit inside if you want to be able to talk to the other people at your table. We liked the band but it was really loud.

Good home cooking! I had one of the daily lunch specials of fried chicken (I chose the white meat chicken breast, but dark meat leg and thigh was also an option), mashed potatoes and tomato pie w/ a roll. My kiddo had the kids cheeseburger with fries. The portions were hearty and we took home a to-go box with enough for another meal. Our waitress was good, the restaurant was clean, and we were attended to quickly. The tea is also top-notch and comes in to-go cups that are easy to get a refill and top for the road. Drove 12 hours this day. Was starving at 9pm. Had zero expectations but was so surprised to find this gem. Not just a cool place with live music on a Saturday night. This was hands down the best catfish, hush puppies and fries green tomatoes I've ever had. The service, even for being a curbside to-go order, was phenomenal. Wonderful place. Staff is very attentive and smiling. We tried the Romie's Burger. Man what a huge burger...double patty on a delicious bun. Tomatoes (very good) lettuce, onion and pickles on the side. French fries were delicious too. Hands down 5 plus stars. Great music playing. They have bands play on Saturdays so definitely going back for that experience. They serve a different plate lunch daily and from the looks of everyone's lunch plates it is just as good or even better than the burger. Went for lunch, while visiting from out of state. The fried green tomatoes are amazing! Fantastic and huge fried chicken salad, too.
