Today was our first and last time visiting this establishment. $100 in the trash. I’m happy to support local businesses that cater to my appetite, however Sassa did not satisfy. The portions were great, the food was not. My spouse, raised in the Caribbean, ordered snapper only to realize it was not as there were no teeth in the mouth of the fish and the texture was too delicate. The jerk chicken was dry, the brown stewed chicken was dry and spicy and the conch was more batter if any conch at all. Disappointing. Been very patiently waiting for this restaurant to open just went today and was not disappointed. Food was excellent. Venue was exciting and warm atmosphere.customer service was great. Definitely coming back again and this restaurant is a nice change of pace to the other restaurants in the Mt.
