Absolute garbage experience. Ordered a build your own veggie omelette with no oil and they added cheese even though I ordered it without. So I had them remake it, and the second time, the omelette had hardly any veggies and it was soaked in oil and looked more like scrambled eggs instead of an omelette. So I had to send the second omelette back and go next door to Sierra provisions and just grabbed a bagel for breakfast instead. I hate how when the kitchen messes something up, the remake is always some sloppy hastily made garbage. It’s not my fault they messed up the first time. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Expect longer waits in the morning. Breakfast buffet is excellent. I usually don't take the buffet but they have good quality items and variety for the price. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Sierra Café is located on the lower level of Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. Breakfast is served between 7-11:30 am and lunch is served between 12-3:30 pm. They do not serve dinner. The café has a good amount of tables with an outdoor area facing the resort pool. We didn't have any problem getting a table at around 9:00 am ish but they do get busy. We had breakfast here both mornings while staying at the Resort. They have all your basic breakfast items from eggs, omelets, pancakes, bacon and waffles. Everything we had was delicious. The pancake and omelet was probably my favorite. The breakfast buffet is only available on the weekend. Excellent service. The servers are attentive, friendly and professional. My husband and I had breakfast here. He got very ill with diarrhea and vomiting afterward. I reported this to The Hyatt front desk. My breakfast was OK. We did not have the same menu item. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Stayed here for a week, loved it. It is very convenient to have a rental for snowboarders and skiers right at the hotel. Wonderful service and food. Liked the breakfasts. Disappointing only one hostess in the restaurant - Marco. Unfriendly, rude, arrogant, muttering something under his breath is impossible to make out, turns away and does not listen in every possible way showing disinterest. All the time missing from the workplace. Today we waited for him for 10 minutes and in the end the waiters put us in because he was not in the hall or at the workplace. Today is a weekday. There were a lot of people here on the weekends and the wonderful hostesses coped and they managed to leave a pleasant impression every day. Like the waiters, they are all great! But Marco does not understand his work responsibilities at all. I'm sure his responsibilities are not walking around in circles in an empty room with a businesslike look, ignoring the guests who are waiting to be seated, pretending that he’s doing something important. We had the breakfast buffet and were so impressed by the quality of the pastries there. Easily some of the best croissants I have had in my life! The buffet also offered standard breakfast spread like fresh fruits, egg Benedict, omelette, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, salad, cold cuts, juices, and others. $35 pp, not including coffee. A reliable and tasty place for lunch. The price point is a couple dollars more than I wish it was, however in Winter ‘22 when so many places are closed for lunch, they are open AND have great service. Breakfast this morning was a little chilly on the patio but can't beat the view! Started the morning with coffee, almond milk and some OJ. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to make the avocado toast ($14.00) gluten free for me which is great, I don't get to enjoy that out often. They have various bread options listed but gluten free bread is not. It came with hard boiled eggs, which I had the option of changing but I stuck with it. The hard boiled eggs were ice cold, the toast was loaded with lots of avocado, almost too much. I ordered a side of asiago chicken sausage ($6.00) which was good but messy. I think I would have enjoyed more if the eggs were hot- because it was so cold outside-- personal preference. My hubs opted for the simple breakfast your way, with scrambled eggs and bacon, and breakfast potato and toast. $17 I tried to order the green godness smoothie, but the server informed me it had barley in it and was not gluten free. We took a long walk through the buffet area, they had some great looking food options if you don't have any dietary restrictions. Not many food items on the menu caught my attention- but my experience was great, the wait for the food seemed long. Should have asked for a heater to be moved closer to us.

The “Pig in a Biscuit” is on my list of top breakfasts! House made cheddar biscuit, slow-cooked pork Carnitas, fried egg, tomato, cheddar cheese, chipotle aioli. With sweet yellow pepper and baked potatoes with shredded parmesan cheese on the side. Beautiful view as well here at the Hyatt regency Lake Tahoe.
