We love Silver Diner! The food is always great and fresh, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is really fun. Like going back in time to the 50's. We came here for breakfast. We order two meals. One came with an omelet, pancakes and fruit. The other meal consisted of eggs, turkey sausage, home fries and a biscuit. This was the first time i have been disappointed by a meal at SD. While the service was good, our server was a sweetheart, the quality of the food was poor. The food was room temperature and tasted stale. It seemed like many of the items had been sitting out for some time. Classic diner with many healthy options. This is our weekday early morning breakfast spot when everyone wants something different. We were here earlier today for lunch, we sat at the bar. Same bartender as the last time, was very prompt in asking what we like to drink. I had something new, the tomato burrata on ciabatta , it was amazing and super good, came with a little dish of slaw which was very good too, but I didn’t eat the fries( too much for me) my husband had the triple pickle fried chicken sandwich and he loved it too, everything on the menu is awesome, we love the varieties of food like you won’t find elsewhere, great chef, owners, and staff !
