This little place offers a collection of wines, olive oils, gifts, snacks and sandwiches, you can get coffee and pastry, sit by the window and enjoy a little time for yourself, you can order glass of wine from one of the Sonoma’ gorgeous vineyards and chat with friendly people. It is fun, eclectic, cheerful shop!
Great Mercantile Store with a Wine Store & sommelier on one side and a grab and go with hot food available on the other. Also, coffee with Café treats!
Not to mention the 4 Cottages behind! We stayed in Cottage 1 with the yellow door. It was a small home with a double bed in one room downstairs and two twin beds upstairs. The only bathroom is large and offers a single shower. The kitchen is large and is well equipped with a coffee maker, kettle and everything you need to make a nice cupper! (Individual Coffee creamers in the fridge).
Fantastic stay, would come again!
The wine shop is my absolute "go-to" source for wine and champagne from across the world. Todd is both responsive and resourceful at getting the bottles you need for your party or collection at fantastic prices. After so many year of having to call multiple places with a request, it's been a joy to finally have Todd and Sonoma's Best in my address book.
We had a delicious lunch and an amazing wine tasting in the backyard garden. Everything was amazing and special thanks to Casey for being the best host and recommending great wines! Definitely a highlight of our Sonoma visit
This proprety is broken into 2 parts: a little market for grocery, wine and cafe, they're also a deli that sales delicious sandwiches. I recommend the bacon grilled cheese and/or the pastrami with gruyère cheese.
The other part of the proprety has 4 nice cottages, really nice, comfortable and clean, perfect for a weekend gateway.
This is a nice spot for morning coffee and very relaxing for lunch. The patio out back is delightful on a sunny day. Service is excellent and the array of deli sandwiches, salads are delicious, as are the pastries. I had the Sonoma Cubano Panini with a London Fog tea. Sonoma Best’s original version of Earl Gray, very yummy! I saved room for a pastry. I had the pumpkin scone bar, outstanding! Sonoma Best also has lots of little food items and culinary odds and ends that are clever gift ideas. Definitely a place to bring out of town visitors.
Cute little convenience store on the way into town with a full wine bar/store, eatery, and small items. Stopped in to grab some sparkling to start our day of vineyard tours! Good stuff.
Wonderful! Good food! Terrific wines local and non. I wanted to taste local, small wineries. Todd's suggestions made me very happy!
Relaxed atmosphere, unlike Sonoma Square. Highly recommend!!!!
We stopped here during our self guided hike tour & the customer service was amazing! My favourite part was the wine tasting at the tasting bar which was just $10 for 5 different wines! I also loved my salted caramel with nuts ice cream. Very rich & appropriate after a long bike ride. The only downside was my spinach ravioli. There was barely any seasoning or flavouring. We went here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t even packed. Made it the perfect pit stop. We ended up covering it in pepper to make it taste better. Other than the ravioli, everything was great!
