We love everything we've had from here, the catfish, lamb chops, BBQ chicken, so many of the sides & it's all beyond delicious. The true definition of comfort food! It reminds me of my Gramma's food, she grew up in Salem, Arkansas and her food was perfect. Also, I want to add they did a feed the kids iniative in underprivileged areas in Flint and I heard they fed over 900 kids their fantastic menu. That is beyond amazing, and a business I love to support. I can't wait until they open again around here!

Rib tips were extremely hard to chew and mostly bones. Fries that came with tasted like fish, must have cooked them in the same oil. The sign at the window said “no cash refunds” that should have been a sign. So disappointed in my $15 lunch. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

We had the porkchops with fries, a side of Mac and Cheese, and okra. Everything was delicious except for the Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese was watered down with little to no flavor except for what ever they garnished it with. The pork chops was delicious! Like wow and the okra was crunchy and amazing! The fries were seasoned to perfection lol definitely going back will skip the Mac and cheese though. Got food on Memorial day at the burton parade 😋

I had the pleasure of enjoying this for lunch on Saturday at the Romeo Vintage festival and I absolutely loved. The soul aide was a little sweet for me but the chicken, spaghetti and onion rings were fabulous:-) and they were still good when I finished the leftovers on Tuesday.
