I love how you're now able to self-check out at the kiosks which was smooth and seamless. The double garlic butter burger was absolutely flavorful and delicious, the cotton candy and oreo shakes were everything I could've dreamed of, and the atmosphere was inviting, calm, and peaceful. Burger was ordered plain. But, had pickle, onion and ketchup when received. I took everything off. But, it still had the taste of pickle. Other than that, the food was good. The service was good. Man this franchise has seen better days. It's one of the only franchises that still keeps up the diner fascade, but you can tell from the rusted furniture, broke tiles, etc. that they haven't done much remodeling. Atleast this one's floors aren't covered in filth and it doesn't have cobwebs kn the tables. They pretty much force everyone to use the kiosks to order since there's no menu on the wall nor anyone really working a register of some sort. I ordered a butter steakburger with a small fry which came out to be a little over $5 with tax. The food itself was ready in a few minutes. The shoestring fries are instantly recognizable. Upon opening the burger I immediately had flashbacks of my past experience at a Steak and Shake years ago where I coincidentally ordered the same thing. The butter steakburger on the menu as a different bun, but they serve it on a regular bun. With my first bite I received a mouthful of butter which confirmed it was indeed a butter steakburger. The onions for whatever reason are ridiculously strong. A few bites in and you realize you're gonna need breath mints. It's an above average burger, but the seemingly stale bread was off putting. I wouldn't mind trying things out again, but you can definitely tell they stopped caring about the dine-in experience a long time. It's nothing like the hustle and bustle in the commercials of yesteryear. Everything seemed cold, robotic and it was pretty much a ghost town when I was there.
