More accurate would be 3.5 stars. The food was pretty good, not a lot of spice, but some of the choices were rich in flavor. The service is odd: a bit like a cafeteria and sit down and a meat market. No one really explains where to start or what to do. Theres pictures of different plates you can get, but there's nothing to indicate what's what when you order at the hot box unless you ask multiple questions. There are no prices listed in plain sight either. They do have a drive thru, but I did not use that service at this time. I'll give their service a bump up in that the servers were accomidating to handicapped customers. They don't pass though very often so make sure to ask what you need on the first run. Hence, the lower scores in those areas. Otherwise a quick bite and go on our merry way. I personally liked the tinga(carne deshebrada???) and nopal with meat. First time here and just waited in line no one to greet you or explain the process on how to order but the line didn't take that long. Food had the menudo have to say it was well served with lots of meat. The flavor was okay not much spice to it. The Tripas were bit on the soft side I prefer mine cooked a bit more. The Barbacoa Mex with beans was loaded not like other places, $4 a taco I have to say best to get the Barbacoa don't see how a regular taco would be worth it. The barbacoa was really good. Lots of flavor. They are not stingy with the portions. Bought home some tripa, molleja and chicaron. Really good. Menudo smelled a bit, liked it wasn't cleaned before it was cooked. Waitress was a bit slow but she had alot of tables to wait on. Damm Barbacoa tacos are a little too expensive for my budget. Cost me 4 bucks and change. Not worth it for me, this is not including the soda, imagine two tacos for 8 bucks , at this price this is a full Whataburger or Chick-fil-A meal.
