We love the Clairemont location, but Upland is closer to home. Plus there's a wetlands trail right behind, so we can take the dogs for a walk, then grab a pint.
The ploughman platter is always on point, as are the frites. We were in time from brunch today, so we switched it up. My Full Belgian Breakfast was really good. The brats were very mild, and perfect with the mustard ale sauce. The fried potatoes were so crispy outside, but soft inside, that they were challenging to cut in half.
Wife and teen got the BLT. The pork belly is extra crispy, and the pretzel bun really add something extra.
