We were very excited to try this place and even showed up early for our reservation but upon walking the host was very rude and immediately told us that we would have to be seated at the bar or outside. The restaurant was barely at 20% capacity but they treated us like we weren’t welcome. Despite the hostesses our server Brandon was great. We were looking forward to enjoying a full dinner there but decided to have a drink and appetizer and left to Sol down the street. Unfortunate, but hopefully they show future customers more respect. First time at Goldfinch. Easy parking (that's important). Excellent check in attention. Waiter (Nick) was fabulous from initial greeting to final 'cheque please'. Knowledgable wine gal helped us with wine selection. We had Tandori fried chicken and halibut. Both were great. Noise level was just fine (we could actually talk to each other at the table).
