The Puff and Dust specializes in gourmet hand-crafted gluten-free and dairy-free marshmallows. This unique dessert shop was born from a mother's love for her allergy-prone son in a search for a sweet confection that he and all others could enjoy as well. The Puff and Dust offers a wide variety of marshmallow flavors from the tried-and-true vanilla bean one to fun fruit flavors, and just about everything in between. They ensure the flavors they showcase in their marshmallows are never artificial and are derived from the source - e.g. their vanilla bean marshmallows feature real vanilla bean in them. The Puff and Dust also doubles as a miniature marketplace showcasing a variety of items from local artisans.
At the time I was perusing the marshmallow selection they had in store, majority of the flavors featured were very fall-centric ones such as cinnamon apple. Since this was my first-time trying The Puff and Dust's selection I decided on a variety pack - this pack in particular was located in their one-day old marshmallow selection, which they sell for 50% off! It was the perfect deal for me since I got to try a variety of their marshmallows at a discounted price. I greatly appreciate the eco-friendly nature of their business in that they try to avoid having their products go to waste and instead sell the one-day old marshmallows at a reduced price. My newly purchased marshmallows were placed in a bag, which came with a cute sticker gift attached - always a nice surprise!
Too eager to wait until I got home to sample the marshmallows, I opened the variety pack shortly after I stepped outside the shop and bit into the first one I picked out. I found the chocolate marshmallow to be light, airy, and not-overly-sweet, a delectable bite overall. Honestly, I couldn't even tell that these were a day-old marshmallow as they tasted just as fresh as I would expect handmade gourmet marshmallows to taste. I can't wait to try out the other flavors available in my variety pack, and I'm sure the next time I get a marshmallow craving, I'll be back to purchase some from Puff and Dust.

I happened to pass by their pop-up at a local Elk Grove fair, and the marshmallows were pretty unforgettable. They are very light and easy to eat; I love a good marshmallow, but usually they feel heavy and too rich (but I don't let that stop me). The delicate flavor and texture of these are great!
They had two types of packaging, and I realize that the nicer packaging also has a resealable function to it which is nice.
I'm excited to enjoy these marshmallows and get more later. :)

Seeing this company grow has been nothing short of amazing. From only being able to find these marshmallows at pop ups to now having her own store with all of her different marshmallow flavors! Not to mention other dessert vendors that add to the awesomeness that is this store. Ranging from delicious empanadas, freshly baked cookies, to my favorite gluten free Chai spice marshmallow. This store really hits it out of the park and is a must visit

We have purchased multiple flavors of marshmallow from Puff n Dust and every single one was amazing!
We made lemon s’mores
Chai tea with a chai marshmallow
Hot coco with a peppermint marshmallow
Coffee with a salted Carmel marshmallow
The list goes on and every single thing was better than the last.
This store is a beautiful compilation of Dessert and Community and we can’t wait to continue to support this local business 😍

I've been a consumer since the very beginning, and seeing the growth and progress of these simply delicious products has been a great joy. They go great with almost any treat (from desserts, to hot coco, to even mixed drinks) you can always find a flavor to suit your needs.
