Stoped at the end of the walk. Our group was quite large and the service couldn’t handle it. There were some mix up orders and waited in long line. But I have to mention a sweet I tried. Not exactly sure what it called coz the barista didn’t know. But it was quite yummy. A blueberry custard kinda dorm filled with a blueberry jelly inside and on the bottom there was a biscuit coated in chocolate 👌🏽 Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The dirt road towards the teahouse had so many Bumba i was afraid for my car at a few places. The place itself feels tired and old. The paint is coming off in places, to go to the bathroom you have to go outside. Great cafe with lots of area to sit & relax. Best part is attached fields of heather flowers, simply amazing. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Such a beautiful location and such a bad service. We waited for an hour for our sandwiches and then still 20 mins for coffee. A lot of staff but apparently making mistakes in ordering or not not enough staff in the kitchen, but it’s just so slow. Definitely changing their system of work may help to have an effective smooth flow. Food is good though (but cold in our case) Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful location at the heather between Bussum and Hilversum. All around great biking, hiking and running options. They have good vegetarian options and a very nice terras. Simple but good lunch dishes. At ten in the morning breakfast options. In the afternoon a place for drinks and snacks in the sun. Ordering with your mobile possible, bit luckily they still have personnel to serve and help out. I had a sandwich hummus which was good. Coffee could be stronger, but was ok. Little playground for small kids. Don't sit too close if you want to have an adult conversation..... Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food was made in heaven. We ordered 3 things: Fries with rendang, fries with pulled chicken and a sandwich with grilled vegetables. We shared everything and it was so good. The indoor dining area is a little small so it felt a bit crowded and it was quite loud. However this wasn’t much of a problem. When the weather gets better, you can also sit outside which offers a beautiful view of the Larense hei. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20

Good reviews are certainly from Dutch people with low standards. It's a nice location but the food is terrible and service is quite bad. I guess that's what happens when it's only 15 year old kids working. Nothing wrong with their efforts though. We were told the kitchen closed after placing our order. But then when we were leaving our food arrived. The quality of the food is ridiculous and way overpriced for what you get. Iced americano was served as a hot americano with a glass with ice cubes alongside of it. The hot ham sandwich was cold, with cashews and hazelnuts instead of pinenuts. The tables weren't being cleaned. Avoid if possible or bring your own food.
