For anyone planning on working here, I strongly advise against. There are certain expectations that aren’t even known until you’re called out. You will be FIRED if you do not know the menu after just two shifts. The owner is a very condescending lady to any person of color. For those with families of children, I wouldn’t plan on coming here either. Bar is full of people cussing up a storm with no remorse when told not to when children are around. Looking for a comfortable place to sit? You won’t find one here as there are no booths and only TWO two seater tables in the whole restaurant. And your chips and salsas, handled by people who haven’t washed their hands. Overall, a very unpleasant experience for staff and customers.

Been going to Twisters for years now. Decided to go there Wednesday night with the family. Got seated right away. There were several empty tables. They were not crazy busy. 3 waiters kept walking passed our table, not even acknowledging us. No one even took our drink orders. My adult son even made eye contact with one of the waiters we think had our table and no response. We were all looking at the wait staff and were ignored. After 10 minutes of being ignored, we left. Really disappointed! Decided to go to Knubs Pub. They were way busier and still got great service! Meal type Dinner Service: 1

Melissa was our server tonight. She was nice, prompt, and engaging. I had the fish and chips. The tarter sauce was bombastic. Pickles were still crispy The fish came out hot. Twisters does it again! Been to Twisters Grill & Bar at least 10 times over the past several months, and they've had great food and service every time. The Pork Tenderloin is huge, thick, and tasty. Easily one of the best I've had in the KC area. Fried chicken sandwich is also one of the best. Club sandwich is fantastic every time. The burrito is SO freaking good! Friendly, helpful staff and great sports bar environment. Can't go wrong when you're looking for a solid place to eat and watch a game.
