Trying nicely cooked garlic shrimps, fillet steaks and crab cakes is a nice experience here. Good crème brûlée, bread pudding and biscuits can be what you need. Get your meal started with delicious wine, beer or martinis. It's a must when visiting this restaurant to drink great coffee, lemonade or ice tea. At Venue Restaurant & Lounge, visitors can celebrate any event: a wedding, anniversary or birthday party. The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Prices at this place deserve attention because they're affordable. The lovely decor and calm atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Had a reservation at 5:15p, we were not seated until 6p. Both hostesses were overly unhelpful and one of them was especially rude about the situation when I pointed out that they missed our reservation. At first they moved us to the lounge to wait for drinks at a table that was reserved for a later time. We were told we needed to move when we said we’d rather stay in our seats since they missed our reservation. They essentially forced us to move which was very embarrassing in front of perspective clients who we were treating to dinner and other diners. It is not your patrons’ problem or fault if you as a restaurant cannot hold your reservations. Absolutely ridiculous. When we were finally seated, they did not bring us menus to order for an additional 15 minutes. The management staff did comp our drinks and meals which was warranted for the absurdity of the evening and the rudeness of the staff. Our waiter, Cat, was exceptional, friendly, prompt, and lovely. She is a great employee above all others there, especially the hostesses would do well to follow her example. We have eaten here many many times and it will be a long time before we return, if ever. Big fan of the Venue. Haven't been in years and started to frequent there again recently. The prices are reasonable, the food is incredible and innovative, and the service is impeccable. I go here for work outings, girl dinners, and with my older children. We usually split the bread and a pizza, which is more than enough. My favorite is the Southwest Blackened Shrimp pizza. Busy night. We didn't have a reservation & waited only 5 mins on a Wed night. Service was a little slow but overall very good, as always. The food was very well presented and tasted good. Everything was great , we had reservations online @8:30 pm but we are came early by 7:30 ( we’re 2hrs drive to Lincoln ) . They are so helpful for switch us in earlier , so busy by the time we there and wait almost 1hrs for the foods ,but worth it. We had an amazing time at the Venue for our wedding anniversary. Our server Ashley gave us amazing service. We had the spicy crab melts, the ginger soy salmon, and the 3 sea trio. Everything was the best food we have ever tasted. The scallops melt in your mouth and cut like butter. Our drinks were fantastic as well! Afterwards they even brought us a complimentary dessert for celebrating our anniversary with them.
