The Waves Cafe yesterday with my good friend from Maryland, and being invited to stay as long as we wanted in the incredible place with a stunning view of Lake Superior, savoring the most amazing quiche lorraine that I've ever had, sipping terrific coffee, and appreciating the kindness and the warmth and the hospitality of Michelle ~ was perfection! We were looking for a late morning breakfast, and the selection of quiche, fine baked goods, wonderful coffee were terrific. Made even better by the effervescent compassionate exuberant kindness of Michelle. I highly recommend this as a perfect choice just off Highway 61 headed up or down the North Shore. You do not have to be a Guest at the Waves of Superior Resort to enjoy this hospitality and food! What a great start to our day! We'll be back! Thank-you, Michelle! :)

Not gunna lie! Service was excellent. Had the pizza. It's frozen pizza. The one pizza we had was cold.

Can't comment on food as we did not order anything there but only checked in for our stay. Staff was above and beyond nice and helpful and atmosphere was very inviting.

The cafe was open on July 5th and I believe it is open only seasonally. The cashier/server was very pleasant and our breakfast was absolutely delicious. They only offer breakfast and lunch (along with beer and wine) and have a nice deck facing the lake. The All American and and Sourdough French Toast topped with blueberry compote was very good! I highly recommend this cafe. I believe it is open seasonally. Don’t follow Google Maps directions, it will take you down a private drive. The cafe is in the same building as the spa and is on your right off Hwy 61.
Great Easter brunch. A vast variety of food: salads, hot dishes, omelette station, desserts and a reasonable price at $25 per person. The staff are very friendly too.
Though I've never been, I do live up in the area year round and I find it rather irritating that shops like this close for the people who who really would like to utilize it all year round. Shame. Only out for the tourist dollar.
