Came in on a Tuesday for early dinner and they had a wonderful jambalaya special, a good sized meal and fantastic flavor. Great spot for lowkey dining and wonderful bar atmosphere. BRING CASH (or check)!!! Whitey's Burgers and Booze is well known for NOT taking credit cards. There is an ATM on site. But do NOT let that stop you from coming. Just be prepared! Whiteys has been here for seventy years! Which is a tremendous testimony. The food was very good comfort food! And the prices were fantastic! Burgers and sandwiches were around $11 to $14. Seems like every restaurant believes they make a burger that is worth $20. The three of us had a total bill of $50 and that was with two drinks!!!! My son had a burger and I ordered the foot long chili dog. They are well known for their chili... and for good reason! I also had a long island iced tea that I can tell them did not skimp on! I have been here several times before and have enjoyed my meal every time. Add Whiteys to your plans, just don't forget to bring cash! Very excited to go here after seeing all the great reviews and driving by every day after work and seeing it packed. Do your research before you go folks. It is cash or check only. Don't give them poor reviews because you're lazy. However, feel free to give poor reviews because the food is not good, which is what I'm doing here. The wings were well above average and the high point of the meal. The fries were average. The grilled chicken sandwich (called the tavern sandwich or something similar) was dry, cold, and tasteless. My girlfriend opted for the pizza which looked great, but is extremely strong on the tomato taste (they include chunks of diced tomato on the pizza) and suffers as a result. Very cool look inside, with a comfortable heated patio, even on a cold day. Great atmosphere. We will probably not be back. Very disappointing. A real "Cheers Style" bar located in Richfield Ohio. Very friendly atmosphere, great service, very good food from burgers to wings to chili to garlic mussels. They sure don't scrimp on the portions. My mushroom swiss and onion burger had enough mushrooms that I took them home and made an omelet out of them the next day now that's stretching your dollar! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
