Out of the 8 dishes we order, only 2 dishes, drunken prawn and lime steam sotong taste is above average. The rest all taste really bad and bland, especially the butter prawn, fried fish and potato leaves. Rice and fried anchovies are those lowest grade type. We had high expectations due to the good reviews but left feeling utterly disappointed.

Not bad in a small hidden corner. Not really helpful service when ordering the food for a group. The toilet is disgusting and overall I must admit the shop is overrated, food wise is okay but no surprises and the sweet potato leaves are horrendously presented. Sad.

Verdict: I will repeat this restaurant. The food taste good.

- 月光宝盒 Moon Beancurd (tofu with shrimp and pork inside): 7/10.
- Yin Yong Kai Lan: 9/10.

With only 10 tables and no air conditioning dining place, it is indeed hidden gem inside this small town. 2 style fish, BBQ pork rib, icy sweet and sour pork chunks are their signature.
Overall food taste good, fresh and affordable for the price.

A corner lot old shop family run restaurant without air-cond, but quite spacious and comfortable. Staff are polite and pleasant. Food is good, ingredients are fresh. It has quite a big variety of dishes. We had lunch and ordered 4 dishes including Vietnamese style steamed squids and prawns Iberico ribs. Value for money.

Recommend 滑蛋蒸鱼. A restaurant with lots of dishes some hard to find at other places. 菜卜豆腐 is 1 of dish not available everywhere. Would love to come again to explore more dishes here

OMG... Food was above average and pricing was reasonable. Steam River prawn(1.5kg) Rm210, red fish done 2 ways and 5 other courses. Total bill was Rm437. Will be back if I am around this place

Crowded and food was ok. Fried rice we ordered was slight burnt. And most of the dishes were overly salty.
One thing best of this restaueant was their signature fried fish with cucumber and onions salad on top.
While the rest if not too salty will be good

Very nice Chinese food with a nice twist. They're famous for the chilled gulou meat and their 2-Flavoured Fish - Both fried and steamed fish together. Both were great dishes and I had the claypot kangkung and the salted egg sotong which were quite nice as well. Must go early (around 6pm) or reserve your place otherwise it's a long wait! I've heard of a pumpkin dish which they only served to customers that ordered beforehand but I haven't tried it yet.
