My family celebrated (11 of us) my nephew's birthday. Our server was great (wish we got her name). Prices are reasonable. Food and portions were large and delicious. Food came out quickly. Only downfall it was so cold in there. We definitely will be back. Another shout-out to our attentive server! Great Chinese food, the best in the contiguous areas of League City. Years of consistent great food and service. I have never had a bad experience here weather dine or take out. Always hot and exactly what was ordered. The staff Is always happy to help attentive and checking in on you. Prompt, frequent, cheerful service. Seaweed salad was a rare choice for an American Chinese restaurant. The grilled redfish fillet was fully cooked, moist, tender and lightly seasoned. It was smothered with sauteed, peppered, tender yellow onions and included a large portion of fried rice with whole, salad-sized shrimp. I was visiting family in Houston. We were suggested to try 888 Chinese Restaurant. Food was excellent, service was great, nice atmosphere. When I came back to Houston I will definitely visit here again. Location was in Dickinson. I highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We arrived ordered our drinks while sitting at the table a roach appeared and by my glass. So we called the waitress over and she just looked and asked if we wanted to leave. She didn't make a effort to remove it didn't suggest moving to another table or anything. At this point my wife asked for the manager. She leaves the roach now climbing up the side of the glass I was drinking out of. She returns and says the manager isn't there. So we went to the front counter person was very rude disrespectful . This used to be my favorite Chinese spot, but the food quality isn't as good as it used to be. My sesame chicken was overcooked and dry with hardly any sauce. I substituted vegetable fried rice for an additional charge and only got a couple of pieces of broccoli added in addition to the small chopped onions and carrots and tiny pieces of sliced baby corn, and it was rather bland. Based on the explanation given to me over the phone, I was under the impression that I would be getting a half portion of the vegetable fried rice that is ordinarily served as an entrée. If THAT is the entree passing as "vegetable fried rice" then it is a complete rip off for 12! I suggest anyone in this area that wants fried rice go just down the street to Kabuki and get it there. This is my favorite restaurant by far. The food is always fresh and HOT and I love it! I got the jumbo shrimp and they were cooked perfectly and the brown sauce is so delicious!! Got pork in garlic sauce too, one of my favorites! Also, got egg rolls and green tea which aren't pictured but both were delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Small place just off the South Freeway in Friendswood/Dickinson. Great food 5⭐️s.... Great service 5⭐️s.... Schzuan Beef was spicy and very good quality and quantity. Service was spot on....quick, attentive, responsive, AND knowledgeable. Its just a small unimposing place, turning out great food.
