Hurray for 50% off for Coney Dogs on Coney Tuesdays! 1st time back in 4 years after Covid and it's good that the restaurant renovated, air much fresher now and not so run down. A&W root bear float is still 👍😋. It's hard to get it wrong with Coney Dogs..still the same. Always liked the seats facing the Highway seeing the cars whizzing by. My usual pitstop if driving to Johor from ipoh or KL. I always make it a point to stop by this obr and have a beer, a root beer. This branch was renovated, lighting seats etc had improved. Ordered root beers onion rings curly fries n cheese fries with corndog beef sauce. Think the onion rings standard drop, but curly n cheese fries are as good. Full with flies, more then 10 flying around. Few flies on the counter, few are on the customer's cloth as they are waiting. Yet this place is fully packed. Each order are waiting easily half an hour or more Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40

Expensive and time-consuming. During peak hours, they said that the fried chicken was sold out and it would take a while to fry it. We thought the chicken was already marinated and we just needed to wait for it to be fried. We waited for a long time to see that the chicken had just been marinated and was about to be fried. We got angry and told them we wouldn't wait and would get the spicy fried chicken that was placed in the incubator. Aside than Root Beer Float that still taste good, other foods are not nice. Fish sandwich not much of taste. Fish nuggets are oily and salty. There are a lot of flies in this premise

5 stars rest point. Cleanest toilet. Even come with shower room! Decent food stalls and restaurants. 1 of the best R&R along Malaysia Highway. Will add more photos soon

Always love coming to this R&R when travelling to Malaysia! Have frequent this A&W joint for years!! Its always crowded, and the food doesn't disappoint! Although crowded, the queue moves fast! The place is a little old already, hopefully they renovate the place!
