We called them on the way to ask them about the prices and they said girls would get in for free and men would pay $20 since we had a huge party including a popular African artist. When we got there, they changed the prices when we were checking in and said everyone was going to have to pay. It is Halloween weekend, no one is gonna be at an Afrobeat a club when there’s Halloween parties going on everywhere. We had a huge party for them ready to pay for drinks and promote the location with the artist that was visiting but they chose pride and disinformation over service. I love my people but afrokanza needs some re-inventing.
The building is filthy the walls are dirty and so is the couches tables and floors it’s really triflin I can only imagine how they kitchen look No tolite paper in the restroom I just Ms can’t get past the walls the floors are sooo sticky my shoe was stuck

This establishment has brought great crime (July 31st, 2023 Murder) to our Bonnycastle neighborhood, and needs to move to a more appropriate part of Louisville to conduct it's 3am business. This is not a rave/club community, and we residents want your business gone. We have young children and senior citizens in this neighborhood, that don't need to fear for their lives, every time your doors are open.

I paid 20 dollars to get into here and spent over $100 in alcohol. I went outside for less than 5 minutes and they tried to charge me with another $20 for re entry but they gave me a wrist band. What was the point of the wrist band then?? I won’t be back to this place they are too money hungry. I would have came back in and spend another 40/50 dollars in alcohol so they are really screwing themselves in the end.

This place is poorly managed - there are rats all behind the bar and I even saw one in the ice machine, drunk patrons spilling out onto the street shooting each other, over aggressive bouncers who aren't smart enough to keep guns out of the club an owner who doesn't give a damn about his neighbors and lets his staff leave broken glass all over the street so that people walking their dogs get their paws cut. Nothing good happens here and its SHOCKING that no one has gotten sick because of the disgusting ice machine and rat infestation.

It’s midnight on a weekday and like usual your bar is disrespectfully loud! People are trying to sleep and live!
Its a weekday so why do you all have to open the big windows and share with the neighborhood how loud you can get! Cant you all do that on a weekend and not a week DAY? People around here are sick of it! Its like the only way to survive out here is to get a third shift job. Been living out here for almost 40 years and it’s never been like this. Its truly sad how people can be so controlling and not care or compromise with others who are getting affected by this!
Says they open at 5, but nothing was set up. We just came for food but never got greeted, never shown a menu or offered anything to drink. Didn’t even get acknowledged by the 2 workers once we sat down. So we got up and left. Place was still a mess, smelled bad… Number on the website/IG page doesn’t work.
Brought back memories from my college days. Nice African music vibes. And beautiful women everywhere. Guys clean cut and in suit jackets. Someone in a vip booth had to have ordered about 10 bottles while I visited which was a period of about. 2 hours. . . Nice place. Music was a bit too loud though. Maybe that's for the younger people. But the feeling is one everyone can appreciate. My ears are still ringing from Saturday!!
