After you have seen Biskopsudden on Djurgarden, come to this restaurant. If you prefer Scandinavian and Swedish cuisines, then Aira is worth checking out. AIRA is perhaps a gold standard for what a Michelin-starred restaurant should be. From the doors first opening to being escorted to a cab, the experience delivered by AIRA is a unique one sitting comfortably above the rest. The staff shares information and requests about/from the customers among each other, producing a consistent level of uninterrupted service. Simply put, you only need to tell them what you want once, even if informally. It is obvious the staff are all trained and held to the same stringent benchmark. Located in its own secluded corner of Djurgården, the purpose-built building offers a view and sense of tranquility unmatched by even some of the best hotel restaurants—including Michelin ones—in the world. Its true open-plan kitchen design is also relatively uncommon among high-end dining experiences. I have to give special thanks to Philip, Carlos, and the sommelier for completing this incredible experience through their exceptional service that puts other one, two, and even three-star restaurants to shame. Carl & his team are doing an amazing job all round. Be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours for the lunch menu. If you come to Stockholm and do not have dinner at this place then you are missing the experience of a lifetime. I had an amazing experience, outstanding meal and wonderful service. To top off my dinner I had drinks (Pappy Van Winkle 15yrs) overlooking the water with my dessert. Unique and special experience that will be remembered for a long time. Food was exceptionally interesting and well introduced by the waiters and also paired up with excellent wines by the sommelier. The environment felt calm and relaxing and we were able to “zone out from the reality”even if it was a Tuesday evening when we visited. In short, easily one of the best fine dining experiences that I have ever had.

Stunning good experience. We had the luxury to sit at the chef's table and got to see all the preparation of the food infront of us. The food was superb, all of us at the table kept saying how this was the best food that we had tasted. One cool thing with the chef's table is that we got a round tour of the entire building with Pi (head chef?) Which was super cool. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
