We had a great lunch here, well worth the money for huge portions. We shared two dishes 4 people, one of them being a shellfish bowl for two people, which could have been enough on its own for 4 people. A bit hard to get a table, but worth the wait Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

When you come in you can see a lot of fresh fish and seafood. And the taste of shrimps, prawns and crabs is delicious. The menu is quite confused, with a lot of items, sometimes with little differences, and prices per kg which make the choice difficult. In 4 adults and 2 kids, we had six oysters, 12 medium prawns, a big crab, vegetables a bras, some shrimp without shell, bread, 2 bottle of chardonnay, several bottles of water and 4 coffees and we paid 30€ per person, a fair price. Aki-d'el-Mar has been our go to seafood restaurant since I first came to Portugal Nazaré in 2016. Now that I live in Lisbon, we make sure we come back at least 2-3 times a year to Aki-d'el- Mar The food has been consistent - fresh ,tasty and worth the wait Our favorites are the sapateira, clama, mussels and barnacles (writing in English to spell it correctly)🥰 The service is excellent. We never had any issues with the waiters. The restaurant has a special place in our hearts. Great fish restaurant with most of the shellfish on display as you walk in, sold by the kg. The crab claws were excellent, but note they are served plain, you need to ask for lemon. We arrived around 1:30 after the busy lunch hour. Lots of wait staff, but not too many tables. My husbands food arrived approximately 25 minutes before my food. The waitress who took our order never came back just stood behind the counter well all the other waitresses staff walked around, bumping into each other. Kindly, one young lady noticed that my husband had been done eating for quite a while, and I had not received anything. My order had been forgotten. No one apologized. Overall good experience, price was really good too. Our waiter was really nice but misunderstood our order and we had to wait a long time. We had an amazing lunch here and ever since, compare every other sea food place to our experience there. None of them have really measured up so I can highly recommend this place! :)

As a hardcore seafood lover (also I grew up in Korea where we get fresh caught seafood everywhere within the country) Unsure if this was one time thing, but seafood platter (cataplana de marisco, $50 for 2) was just alright. Serving was good, but overall all of the seafood felt pretty dry or overcooked. If you are a picky seafood eater, maybe try to just order things you like by weight vs getting the whole platter.
