The only café at the airport before passing security and paying the departure tax. Good food and polite friendly owners. I liked the tuna burger. I had it even for breakfast, as Akia Café is famous for it. The shop after security has only snacks, beers and soft drinks. So Akia offers more options.

AKIA Cafe is the only place to eat at Majuro's airport before security. It serves burgers, popcorn, ice cream, and baked goods. A few tables by the windows can accommodate large groups. I've been told the grilled tuna burger is rightfully famous, though I can't personally vouch for that. I usually grab a cup of coffee and a piece of banana bread if I'm waiting to pick someone up. Food on the island hopper is limited and the snack bar in the departure lounge doesn't serve hot meals, so takeaway can be a good idea especially if you're traveling towards Guam.
One of the few decent places to grab a bite to eat on the island (by westerners standards). Food selection is pretty good, and made pretty fast. I usually go here to enjoy some breakfast.
