Staff is super welcoming and attentive. They kept serving us cold water and given the hot weather it is super appreciable The food is good and came with great flavour. I wont say its the best food we had in Laos but its in our top 2 and its definitely worth a visit The location is nice too, near the Mekong river. We came for a late lunch and we were the only customer so it was very peaceful Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An elegant terrasse overlooking the Mékong: the menu is varied and we followed the amazing reviews for authentic Lao dishes. Everything was freshly cooked, aromatic and totally delicious. Starters were the banana flower salad: delicate and tasty The fried vegetable spring rolls light and scrumptious, with a lovely peanut sauce Main course was duck curry ( a type of green curry with coconut and herb sauce) and the superb fried rice with beef. With 3 beers the bill was about £20. Highly recommended and special! In addition they had set up a screen to watch a black and white movie made in the 30's about ethnic groups living in north Laos in the forest, about their customs and hunting with wild leopard,tiger,snakes and elephants. Food was just OK - try Tamarind or Khaiphaen for way, way better Laotian food in town. To make matters worse, they don't seem to use filtered water when cooking, causing much trouble for my husband who chose to eat the fish laap, and has had lots of issues since we dined. I only ordered fried / fully cooked items, and even I am having a bit of trouble. Honestly, avoid... not worth it. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
