This place is a joke! Every location I've been to makes you a sandwich with a bread that's like a bigger hot dog roll let alone they LITERALLY only put one slice of meat!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! They charge you Hero/Sub prices but gip you on the meat. On top of this Tom Foolery, the toppings are falling off the sandwich because the sliced bread isn't fully cut the everything on the sandwich isn't really INSIDE the damn sandwich. I had roast beef sandwich and steak and cheese hot sandwich. Was good. Not expensive at all. And they don’t make you to wait, it took them like 3-4 minutes to make it. Food: 5 Service: 5

Don’t come in on Wednesday. Tuesdays are fine, but this crew today is atrocious. Attitude, made the wrong thing (meatball and not chicken), said they don’t offer fries when they are directly on the menu, remade the sandwich like trash seemingly on purpose. Saw the story of Amato's on a food show. Had a chance to stop at remote location on my ride home. The original italian sub was delicious. Everything about it was great. Fresh vegetable and a delicious roll. Highly recommend getting one if you are in Maine.

I am usually happy here but today I ordered a breakfast wrap and when it was ready the man had gloves on, took my cash and gave me change out of the register. He then went back to making sandwiches, WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON THAT HE HANDED ME DIRTY MONEY AND CHANGE.!!!
