Appreciated that they were open at 4 A.M. for a travel pit-stop. Food was okay; dry. Coffee old, bottom of pot. Server very friendly but never came to check in after meal was served. Place was on the seedy side. Omelette had extra $2 charge..over menu price. Also, gratuity was added in. Extra charge for paying with credit card. Not told about this...check that receipt! Y’all, do not come here. Do not waste your money. First off, the drinks aren’t tap drinks, they’re bottled and cans and they’re OVERPRICED. A regular degular CAN of sprite, 12oz, was $3.50. $3.50?!!! That’s insane. I ordered the Texas Burger, which comes with BBQ sauce as specified on the menu, and my friend ordered the TURKEY PANINI BLT sandwich with LOADED fries. My burger was made with KETCHUP, not BBQ sauce, and my friend’s sandwich came with PITA bread. PITA BREAD YALL. AND IT WAS HAM! They’re lucky she eats pork cause it was literally HAM!!! And it says Turkey on the menu! The biggest issue was the loaded fries… first off, they charged her $5 for them.. and they were made with BARELY melted SQUARE CHEESE. Not shredded cheese, literally the ones you buy at the grocery store, and the smallest bit of bacon bits. All of this food was stuff you’d practically buy and sell outta your house and it’d be way better if you made it your own kitchen. The fries were the same you’d make outta them frozen bags from the frozen aisle and they weren’t even seasoned, AT ALL. Only props I can give to this place is its layout, looks like those old-style movie diners. At least that was nice :/ Gratuity was added and it was 20%… she def didn’t give 20% service and this food barely gave 5% food. Waste of time and money, went home upset as hell. Disappointed because I come here a few times out the year and barely have an issue I order on door dash which I do majority of the time It is also a slow day nobody in there when picked up. I paid extra for items and didn’t recieve I also asked for turkey bacon when they gave me dry turkey breast in a omelette. I have visited the Americana Diner many times and in each case the food and service was very good. The staff, both kitchen and servers, are very professional and efficient. Speaking of staff, I must mention Vanessa who is one of the diner's hostesses. She is terrific. She treats her co-workers and all of the Americana's customers with the utmost respect. She alone makes a visit to the Americana worth your time. I can't recommend the Americana Diner more. A great roadside diner with great food and staff. We went for a late Sunday brunch. Had a fantastic time. The server was so friendly and the breakfast food was delicious. Wonderful neighborhood diner. Looking forward to going again. Horrible Customer Service, Overnight Waitress Caught A Attitude About My Wrong Order And Refuse To Give Me A Refund Or Even A Decent Discount. I Ordered A Medium Steak And Received A Well done Steak. One of the only few diners open 24 hours. Was coming back from casino. Popped in. The pancakes were good. Cheesecake filled pancakes with chocolate chips. And the egg and cheese sandwich was pretty good to I might add. Especially for 2 am. And the waitress was extremely nice. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I loved it. It was more than I expected when we went there. The food was good and the portions was enough that I had breakfast the next morning. My friends loved it also If I was there longer definitely would of went back to see them again. They get 2 thumbs up from us. Our server was really nice also. The place is pretty authentic ‘Jersey Diner,’ and overall pretty clean and in decent shape. The food was mediocre at best, and prices… well, I have no idea where they came up with their prices, but they were HIGH for that authentic ‘Jersey Diner’ experience. They were absurd, once you actually tasted what you were paying for. Okay sized portions, but flavorless, poorly cooked, things I would expect to be fresh were clearly frozen…. I tried this place with the kids and was amazed. What we had: basket of fried chicken with sweet potato fries (it was topped off with onion rings), chicken noodle soup, hot dog, and grilled cheese sandwich. Great food, coffee, and service. We left full and happy!
