Friendly service, open, comfortable space. Decent menu. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage, no need for a side, very filling and delicious. Coffee is good and strong. Over all positive experience, will return Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It was my first time here it looked very clean and nice inside. Staff was nice. I gave you a three stars because although my latte was good i also order a breakfast burrito with no black beans but it had black beans and i couldnt eat it. It was my only time i had to eat as a school bus driver and i was very hungry all day. Just as great as the other two locations! Coconut cream cold brew is always top notch in the summer and we love the honey bacon biscuit sandwich and the chorizo hash. It gets busy on the weekends, but we can usually find a table! This is our go-to spot for a relatively quick brunch in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I absolutely adore this place. It's so cozy in the mornings and perfect in the afternoons. The coffee is also amazing and their food is to die for. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Coconut Cream Cold Brew

First time visit to this Maple Bluff Cafe and we are impressed. We got the Chorizo Hash and the Basic BEC. The Pumpkin Chai Zombie tasted like a pumpkin pie 🥧 I got a caramel latte, one of the best I have had in Madison. Would highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was very good. The coffee was a little sweet but I should order half sweet. Chocolate croissant was wonderful. The atmosphere felt a little sterile compared to other homey coffee shops. Everyone was nice & it was clean and all new. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I am so happy to have Ancora in their new spot in Maple Bluff! As someone who has frequented the other locations for years, I didn't think they create an even cooler space with the 3rd location, but they did! Love the interior and the expanded bakery offerings. The honey bacon biscuit is a go-to but I also love the churro french toast dippers and of course all of their coffee drinks. The weekend brunch specials are something my family looks forward to every week. We recommend Ancora to everyone and so love and appreciate the curbside option if we just want to swing by, pull up and grab our order. Otherwise dining inside is a lovely environment too!

My partner and I eat here pretty much weekly and it’s always a win. Our favorites are the chorizo hash and the breakfast burrito and they are consistently delicious. The staff are courteous and professional. We’re so glad this Ancora is in the neighborhood! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Recommended dishes Chorizo Hash

Avocado toast was very good- crispy brussel sprouts were an excellent add. The homemade scallion cream cheese was delicious as well as the breakfast potatoes definitely recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
Stopped in for to-go bakery. Assumed the bakery items would be reminiscent of Manna Cafe. Super disappointed. Only a handful of items to chose from which were all just meh. Even more of a turn off was the obligatory "tip suggestion" on the POS that the worker flips around and essentially shoves in ones face. The tip suggestions are grossly high for their service model, but you feel like a jerk if you don't tip or only give 50 cents on a $5.00 item when the worker is staring at you. I don't recall an option for no tip. It was "other amount" which would force you to spend more time monkeying around at the POS. I'm all for tipping. I was a waitress for 15 years, but tipping should be a private matter that is earned based on many factors. Not expected or "suggestively" forced and they should use a percentage rather than increasingly higher dollar options. Their first and lowest option was 20% ($1 on a $5 scone that was thrown in a bag) which is typically a nice tip for FULL SERVICE. Judging from the reviews, people seem to like Ancora. The food looks good in the pictures. Personally, I would not return here. Manna Cafe was definitely better. Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
