A terrible experience from start to finish. The hostess could not seem more annoyed to do her job. Completely uninviting. Appetizer was tiny. Food took forever. Waitress got our order wrong. Rather than discounting the meal, they decided to make another subpar pizza… another long wait later. Not to mention how overpriced this is. I’ve lived here 15 years, never once came before and never will come back. Also there isn’t a stall door on the ladies bathroom in front of the sink, so you are exposed to anyone who walks in. Overpriced, foul tasting and lack of care is the best way to describe this joint. I wouldn’t waste my time nor your time stepping foot in this restaurant to eat. The pizza is like a frozen flat bread style pizza you’d get from the grocery store. The portions are very small and the prices are large. The service is also very lacking in care and robotic as it gets and the wait time for food is far too long considering the taste. Angelo’s is one of our family’s favorite local restaurants, we usually go once a week. We were recently served by Christian and he was amazing! Very attentive and very upbeat!! We always order the Ricardo pizza and a pepperoni with feta cheese added pizza with garlic knots as a starter. Delicious!! Last night was our date night for my wife and I. We decided to try out this restaurant. It would be our first - last time there. We were seated by the main door. Across from the check out. Our waiter "Christian" took our order. We got our dinner rolls and drinks. Another 45 minutes goes by still no food. He comes to the table and tells us the printer went out so the kitchen didn't get the order. Then the manager comes over and tells us she apologized and he forgot to put the order in. Another 15 minutes go by and nobody is saying anything. I go to the front and explain that we are hungry should we go somewhere else. They then tell me it will be another 15 minutes before our food is ready. They were putting a rush on it. We didn't feel the need to continue to wait. I'm not sure if this happens often. We ended up leaving without having dinner there. No one tried to make it right. The waiter didn't offer an apology. We drove over to Fat buddies BBQ. Explained our experience over at The Angelo's restaurant. They (BBQ) staff took us in sat us down. Brought our appetizers and drinks over had a complimentary salad some Brunswick stew made everything right and our food was brought to us shortly thereafter she ended up getting the $30 tip. So if you want good food and great service I recommend Fat buddies BBQ. Live & Learn. I couldn't tell you if the food at Angelo's was any good as we never got to it. Not very good customer service Angelo's. Two thumbs down 👎👎. Service Dine in

It’s the best pizza ever!!! My son & I love the grilled white chicken white sauce pizza! Me, my son and mom have been coming to get this specific pizza for over three years now. All their food is good but this pizza is my absolute favorite. I love how they cut it in squares the flavor it’s always hot and good I highly recommend you coming here and trying everything on the menu. We were visiting the area and after several days of fresh trout, we were pizza hungry! I read some reviews and we decided to try Angelo's. We arrived around 11:30 a.m. I'm glad we were early because we quickly realized Angelo's is a very popular place! The pizza was delicious, hot, with fresh ingredients! Mom had the child's size fettucine alfredo with chicken, and we also ordered some cheese breadsticks. We ended the meal by sharing a piece of sinfully rich Toll House pie!! Yummy!! Our server was very attentive and friendly. We are in the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area every year. This will be put on our regular meal rotation!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If anyone tells you, there’s a better pizza in the area in my opinion or lying to you this is got to be in the top five if not the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten I ordered extra sauce, extra pepperoni, extra mushroom, ricotta, mozzarella, ground beef, and meatball do not forget the meatball. Food was excellent. Service was was great and atmosphere was nice, place was full but you didn't feel crowded crowded in and could hear conversation at your table. I had the Chicken Marsala over risotto and my partner had the baked ziti, both were delicious our friends had the spaghetti and enjoyed it as well. After a long hike, we stopped in Waynesville, a customer of my boyfriends had told us this was a must try place to eat. We absolutely loved it, fantastic garlic balls, pizza, and we took home funnel cake cheesecake.. and wow, even after a 2 hour trip home, that cheesecake was still amazing! Definitely will stop by again:) Also, our server was great. Attentive and friendly, lol. we thought she was from Jersey, but she's not. Wish I could remember her name she deserves a shout-out.
