The food and drinks were very good however we had to wait over an hour to be seated after being told we would be a 20 minute wait. The kitchen stopped taking orders shortly after we were told 20 minutes possibly due to to go orders because there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. A lot of people left and didn't wait for a table. There were sounds of things breaking and the bar was not clean where we sat to wait. Could be an off night but I am not sure. The staff were not on the same page at all as a team.

The only reason I didn't give it a 1 star is because I love the Fiesta Lime Chicken. Well, I did.
It was Veterans Day and I took my DAV husband to Oshkosh Applebee's to eat.
First, the food took about a half-hour to get and even the waitress was wondering why our food wasn't ready earlier. When it did come my husband's beadsticks were missing. When he was almost done with his meal the breadsticks showed up. The waitress said she had to tell the back several times to "put some down". The waitress did give him an extra one which was nice.
Second, my chicken was woody and so awful I couldn't eat it. Since no one came to see how our dinner was, I just put it off my plate and didn't bother.
Third and the worst - There was an employee (I thought he could be the manager) going around and thanking people for their service. My husband said he literally looked right at him, did not approach and walked away???? THAT was the biggest disappointment.
Applebee's has always been my favorite restaurant but after everything put together. I will probably not return.

You all just can’t figure it out. I’ve tried ordering take out 3 times now and you have messed every order up. The first two I just accepted as the new “normal”, now this time I’ve had it an decided to leave my thoughts. There were 3 guests in house when I came in at 9 tonight to pick up my carryout salad. I passed 3 employees. Get home and have zero dressing for my salad. Who doesn’t like their $15 salad to be dry?? Well…me. And of course I tipped on all of these meals before I ever got to see how they screwed it up. Im done applebees. Can’t imagine you all care, seems you stopped caring 10 years ago.

Service was slow and when we got our food, my husband's meal was cold. Mine was fine. They offered to bring a different entree or to reheat it but because of how long we had waited my husband chose to take his meal to go and reheat it at home. They did deduct the meal from our check.

Fiesta Lime Chicken
Hostess could have had a better attitude (smiles are free you know). Had to wait a little longer than one would like to get water in the beginning but given the current state of restaurants not being able to find enough workers it's understandable. Waitress was very attentive after that. Spinach and artichoke dip was a thin/runny not creamy. Mozzarella sticks were good. Oriental chicken wrap (huge) was good but you have to ask for the dressing and without it, the wrap was dry. My son's burger looked amazing. The fries are good, overall good experience.

My husband and I are regulars at this Applebee’s and we always have the best service. We tend to sit at the bar almost always have Jasmine waiting on us. Of course we wanted to spend our Christmas eve here and they really have out-done themselves. I have never seen this restaurant so busy and you could tell the 2 servers weren’t expecting it either. Despite this, we got greeted immediately with a huge smile from Jasmine and she already knew what we were drinking. She was decked out in Christmas spirit. Her and the other server were running around. It was crazy how much these two had to do. The bartender was also serving tables, seating people, making drinks for the entire restaurant, and packing up takeout orders all with a smile on her face. The other server had around 12 tables at once and was also seating tables. These two young ladies are very hard workers. The general manager was there but kinda just stood around and watched these girls get slaughtered. I’m just hoping he was helping cook in the back. Usually manager who’s name starts with a V is there when we come in. Very short blonde girl is awesome, kind, and very helpful. These workers need raises! You trained them well! Love this place and was the perfect place to eat the day before Christmas! Almost a second family here. ❤️

I've lived in Oshkosh for about 5 years now and today was my second visit here. Stood at the front door for a couple minutes as there was no hostess at the front. Mind you I did stop in just a few minutes after they opened. I everywhere sat
myself at the bar. Someone, I'm assuming the manager, came out and said how can I help you. No smile or upbeat attitude. She assumed I wanted to place a to go order. I corrected her and said I wanted to place an order for there. She went in back and someone else came out and took my order and gave me the total. I told the order is for here. She said she was told it was to go. So she went to the back to let the cooks know that the order was for there, not to go. In the 20-25 minutes I waited for my food to come out I witnessed a few people leave after not being greeted at the door. Yall are losing customers simply by not having someone at the front door or even in the dining area to greet and seat them in a reasonable amount of time. Anyways, food was decent. Service could use some improvement.

We went here on a Saturday around 2 pm. No one smiled at us (those are free you know). The waitress didn’t know the menu and didn’t attempt to make us comfortable. Our table was small, sticky, even the bottle of ketchup was practically glued to it. There were flies everywhere. And our food took a long time to come out despite not being busy.
Another waitress did her best to help but our impression was already negative. I will NEVER go here again. I’m sorry.

Very dirty place, the food was terrible, the appetizers came out at the same time as the main course, and the staff seemed like they didn't wanna be there. The new happy hour attracts a lot of the younger population who just come to be loud and drink, and we even overheard a group say they weren't even 21 but never got asked for their ID while they ordered alcohol drinks. It's not a pleasant place to have a nice dinner anymore. Stay away!
