They were pretty busy even for 5pm on Saturday. Our party of 6 was greeted promptly & seated after a 5 minute wait. We waited a little bit for our food but not unreasonable. Everything about this place is so great my boyfriend and I had stopped in here and had a great time. The staff was friendly and timing was great. The floors tables and the restrooms were clean and very neatly organized. The lighting was low perfectly and the chatter amongst people along with the music was perfectly volume. I would say if you and your spouse is indecisive on where to go Applebees at this location is a must try. My friend and I Ordered the tomato basil soup, Asian Chile boneless wings, fiesta lime chicken and maple glazed grilled salmon. Loved everything we ordered. Good quantity and delicious food. However, The booth we were seated at weren’t properly cleaned. Service was a little sloppy but I think they made it up with excellent quality of food.

So I gave it 4 stars because a waitress walked past and dropped ranch on my shoe, it took the lady about 30 mins to clean a table for 7 and the appetizers didn't come out first (ice cream and cake for my sons' birthday came out first)The manager was amazing. Food even the appetizers took a little bit longer than expected. My table had a blast we really had fun. The drinks were good.

We had a group of 18. All food that was ordered was right on. Amazing how fast the food was served to the table. Our waitress Julia did a great job !!! Very friendly and kept checking back with us to see if anytime was needed. They lied and said no rail alchohol or short glasses. Waited almost 20 minutes for one mixed drink and a beer. Wife's food was brought out and mine was 25 minutes layer. Tired of the excuses about not having enough servers. There were 4 with the bartender. Not many customers when they just opened. Came to Minnesota for an extended weekend for my kids to attend a concert. Arrived late in the evening after driving all the way from Winnipeg. Stayed at a hotel across the Mall Of America. Most places were closing at 10pm and we didn't want to rush. We were going to have dinner at TGI Friday's. Stood at front without being greeted and found out there was 2 couples ahead of my family and seemed to be waiting for some time. Our family left and we stumbled upon Apple Bee's here. Seemed to be busy and short staffed, but we're greeted immediately. Erica was GREAT! She was busy and did her best to attend to us. Erica great, food tasted great, and was surprised that there was happy hour when we were there. My daughter stated that she thinks Apple Bee's is her new fave restaurant!! Edit: We've been to this store a number of times over the past years. It is virtually always good. The food, service, and everything else are just as expected. It's Applebee's. However we were there this evening and then service was TERRIBLE. The food was good and they weren't busy at all. Our waiter seemed to retire to the back for ten minutes at a time. He didn't pre-bus, and he was never around when we needed things. The food all came out at different times (though the late food was left under a heat lamp too long so it wasn't the kitchen). Just one of the most inattentive waiters ever. AND, he wasn't running any of his own food... what was he doing exactly? That isn't the normal experience though. We will go back. Original review: Applebee's is like McDonald's. It's always the same or at least it should be. I usually get the brunch burger and some boneless wings as an appetizer. It was the same as always, which is a good thing. The service was good too. Not much to complain about. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

"Lots of tasty, cold food." We ordered drinks - just a beer and common cocktail. They arrived quickly and correctly. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Amy chose the Double Crunch Shrimp with Mac & Cheese instead of slaw. Both came with fries - which were cold. Amy's came with slaw and no Mac & Cheese. The chicken breast on my sandwich was huge and well seasoned. It also had a flavored ranch on it which our server didn't mention. The "Double Crunch" shrimp were not crunchy. They were cooked correctly and tasted good but they were also cold. They did bring her Mac & Cheese fairly quickly after the mistake. The cheese on top of the Mac was not melted when it arrived at our table - it did taste very good though. Our server was less attentive than we'd expected with just a smattering of other tables occupied. I had to wave at someone - the manager, I believe - to get our bill. Applebees is a place that's usually easy to get in and get fed with tasty, well prepared dishes. Next time we're thinking Applebees, we'll go to another nearby location.
