This was definitely an excellent experience. This restaurant has a real great vibe and the staff was more than friendly. Devin was a superb waiter. I got a slim stack of pancakes, and because I couldn't make up my mind, I also got a small plate of biscuits and gravy. Both were delicious, the pancakes were like none I've had before. I would have to say it's probably the best breakfast I've had in Tennessee so far! I'll be back for lunch one day soon. This place is wonderful! The servers are all super nice! The chef helps bring food out. The decor is so fun, like vintage horror and industrial combined. The food is absolutely amazing! They also give super big portions and the pricing is more than fair! I can't wait to go back. Take some good friends and pair it with great atmosphere, great service & good food and you've got Aretha Frankenstein's. I tried the Super Dave Scramble and overall, it was good but it was loaded with jalapenos so you may want to ask them to go easy on that. My wife had the Waffles and enjoyed it. Our guests enjoyed their Biscuits & Gravy and Veggie Omelet. By the way, the Biscuits are a nice size, about the size of your fist. But the real payoff is the atmosphere and good vibes. I think this is a definite on your list of places to go when you have out of town guests. (And buy them a T-shirt!) Only surprise was that it doesn't open till 7:30 am (considering it's a "breakfast" place) but my understanding is that it gets more crowded during the mid-morning to Noon times. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Pancakes and Biscuits and Gravy
I love this place! The decor brings back so many great 80s kid memories. The food is amazing. The pancakes are breakfast perfection. Their biscuits are really good, too. The servers are nice. But, be patient. They get busy! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pancake with Blueberry Mé Lange Butter
A very neat place! The aesthetic is pretty unique with classic horror movie elements all around. This location had just opened recently so the wait was fairly long (hour and a half) and the service was a little slow. The food however was fantastic! The pancakes are delicious and the Polish egg scramble was amazing. The tables have apple butter in a squeeze bottle for the biscuits which was cool. I got the 'shot in the dark' coffee which was $5 but very small which was a little underwhelming. All in all I would definitely recommend this place! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Absolutely great. Knoxville has been waiting for the next great lunch spot and it's here. Great vibes and music with cool decor. Food was deelish. Shrimp n grits, pancakes and biscuits with gravy were all a hit. Got to ask for the blueberry melange. Solid variety with the drink selection. We'll be back.

This was my first time and I was greatly surprised by how good everything was. The employees were great and came back to check on my food and my needs often. A must do on your next outing. Food was very good and you didn't have to wait long for it to be served. I can't wait to go back and try other menu options. The coffee & biscuits and gravy are a must. If you don't have gravy for your biscuit the apple butter is the way to go. The shrimp & grits are good- more of a NOLA style, kind of reminiscent of a Jambalaya- brothier, less like a typical Southern heavy cheese grit dish. They had a great assortment of alcoholic brunch drinks (though none purchased on this trip). The atmosphere and decor are really neat. It has sort of a Halloween steam punk vibe to it. Service was on point & everyone was working really well as a team across the restaurant. I'm really excited the location chosen was in South Knox! It even has a nice little coffee bar to sit at if you're heading in solo. Don't miss out on a trip here for breakfast or lunch! Edit: I’ve come back for a few visits now and have to change my review from a 5 to 4 star. The food has been inconsistent- sometimes the biscuits are good, sometimes they’re dry and missing salt. The biscuits and gravy don’t always come with the same amount of gravy- I’ve had to ask for more the last few times which is an extra charge. The omelettes are dry and tasteless- there’s nothing binding the toppings with the egg. I just picked at the innards and tossed the weird, flavorless egg situation. My husband and I were so excited to hear about a breakfast spot opening up in our neighborhood! We were already fans of the Chattanooga location and Knoxville did not disappoint. I had the polish omelette and it was delicious! We split (and barely finished) one pancake, which was huge and very tasty. We're excited to see this restaurant shine! Come out and try it, you won't be disappointed! Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Exceptional service with delicious food! Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Recommend getting there early since it gets busy. Would love to see some outside seating when it warms up! Will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
