Wow, absolutely AMAZING. I love the little Arroyo’s in Van Alstyne. Enchiladas. Chile relleno. The horchata! But, wow, this place is even better! And the staff is super-attentive and friendly. We are from KC MO and happen to be out this way for my fiance to sky dive. We stopped by for lunch and everything was great! The food was delicious, as well as the manager and her family were such a delight. If you’re in the area, check this little hidden gem out!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give it a 0 star I would. I waited for OVER 45 minutes for tortillas with my fajitas and a spoon for my baby. NEVER GOT EITHER. I paid $16.99 for fajitas I never touched and a side of beans that my 8 month old ate with a FORK. Not friendly at all. I also did not leave a tip and I usually tip HEAVY! 😊 Do yourself a favor and give your money elsewhere!

The general manager Christina is one of the best servers that I’ve seen always helping due to go orders even though she’s rolling silverware waiting on tables she’s always helping the people that are there in the restaurant and helping the people that are getting to go orders trying to get the best service out that they can possibly do however The The male server I don’t know his name always on his phone very rude and today when I tried to check out he tried to take the money from the change because I had a $25 bill. There was a large group there together celebrating something and they had about 20 people at 3 or 4 tables connected. Its a small place with booths and tables about living room sized. The decor was okay and the place was clean. We went to a booth and sat waiting to get a menu. There were 2 people working and were busy with the large gathering. After about 10 minutes the waitress came and took our drink order, my sister got unsweetened tea with lemon and I ordered a frozen marguerita and unsweetened tea. She came back with the tea and told me that all they had for a frozen marguerita was a pink lemonade slush going and I might not want that and she could cancel it but the other lady brought over the pink marguerita and said to try it as it was already made. I took a sip or two and it tasted like pink lemonade so I said no I didn't like it. She left it on the table and said to drink it I might decide I liked it and if I didn't there was no charge. The rim was dipped in sugar. We ordered a Mexican sandwich made of fresh baked bread with small pork pieces, mayonnaise, Avocado, jalapeño, lettuce, cheese and onion. It came with choice of fries or rice and beans. My sisters tea was sweet so they replaced it with unsweetened. The sandwich was huge so we cut it into fourths to be able to pick up to eat. It was just okay. I couldn't tell if the meat was pork or chicken and it was very lightly spiced. It wasn't hot or really warmed but my sister thought it was probably warmed in a microwave. The fries were frozen and just warm as well. No flavor. The cheese dip was complimentary as was the salsa and chips. It was okay but the chips were bagged chips and very thin no seasoning.The bread was okay. Overall the service was okay and the meal was just OK but we probably should have just stayed with enchiladas our usual order. Service was pretty good, but the chicken in my chimichanga was hard and dried out and the beef in my daughter's taco tasted spoiled. She had ordered beef in her enchilada also, but thankfully they messed up and gave her chicken instead. They did bring her a chicken taco when I brought it to their attention. I really liked the queso that they served with the salsa and chips.

I’m easy going and don’t give ratings normally.. but, The salsa was absolutely awful. Tasted like spicy ketchup.. The rice was awful and the service was absolutely horrible. I’d never eat there again. I’d give a zero if I could!!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
