Food just ok Waiter that served us is inattentive and seems annoyed to served us. He was on the phone all the time. Has a bad attitude. We went there because of the review but we are disappointed. Half of the menu was not available. We were tired after long drive and though want to have a good dinner after reading the review. But the experience was bad. Nice little spot with outdoor and indoor seating. Shaded, cool breeze inside and out, clean bathroom. Nice friendly staff, multilingual. Great fresh squeezed orange juice, but of course that's expected in Morocco. Visited twice in one day. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Tajine is not actual Tajine, it's cooked in a pot and then put on a hot ceramic Tajine to make it look like it is, misleading but I guess that's what works best for them. Tourits might be satisfied with it but when you're a local craving that type of delicacy, you feel scammed. Other than that, the chicken with fries tasted good, not as delicious as a real Tajine though. I went there twice on the same day. The second ' Tajine ' was the cooked the same way but more watery and bland. That one wasn't good at all, disappointing. Both meals lacked a great amount of spices. I went there twice for the simple reason that I thought another dish would taste better but not really. Great service from the owner though. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Chefchaouen. The service is very good and the staff and the owner are so nice and welcoming. Their tagines are very tasty and delicious. A tip top restaurant. Good hearty food. Nice service. This restaurant is a good touch of the old traditional Moroccan food. Food you can trust. Food that is decent and affordable. Food that arrives quickly. A sensible spot to go for lunch on the south western area of the Medina. We had a delicious goat tagine and lemon chicken dish. There are wonderfully smelling roast chicken in the area behind where we were sitting (see picture). The value is great, the rooftop area beautiful. And I had a Nutella crepe for dessert which was perfect. The main square is only a 5 min walk from here. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
