To start with this is a Gem of an establishment however the quality of food is different when they are busy. Best to go through on a quieter day. We chose Sunday and it was packed Great place for a good meal. Ordered pork Espetada and the Mrs. Ordered the half chicken peri peri. Reason 1 I'm scoring this lower than usual is that the first piece of pork belly was just pure fat and paying that price for 4 pieces of pork belly and a few chips and having to eat a piece of fat only for my money is insane.(pics attached) Reason 2: the rest of my pork was half raw..this is almost criminal... I spent the evening with a very terrible tummy issue and just dreaded it might be something worse. (Pic attached) Reason 3: pork was brought back after being cooked further with zero extra basting with the new plate. Felt almost embarrassed eating these 2 lonely chunks of pork on a dry plate. Reason 4: Chicken was average and therr are very sharp bones compared to the usual delicious chicken. Even the lacked the love Atasca thrives on was evident in the sauce. I do adore Atasca but in food there are some mistakes that just can't be overlooked. My wife and I were served a roll to share - the shared roll was divine. Best part of my meal. Randomly selected restuarant and was not disappointed. The food tasted good and there was live entertainment for a period of time on a Saturday afternoon. Staff were friendly and ensured that we were well taken care of. Nice free and family vibe restuarant, like neighborhood friendly spec. Also offer 2 to 3 course meals which are easy on the pocket come with a beverage. We have dined there a number of times in the past. We decided to take our oveseas visitor to this restaurant for her 60th birthday. We booked in advance and was well managed. We were given the menus and were disgusted at the state of them - greasy, one has some food compressed in it. I asked one of the waiters for a clean menu. He pulled one out from under his arm???? I think that is more disgusting than the greasy menus. Food order was placed, but the service from our allocated waiter was shocking. We eventually had to call a waiter from another table to attend to some of our requests. Our allocated waiter finally brought our food and placed the plates on the table, but leaning over my food with his sleeve in my face.... dont these waiters get trained on how to place ordered food on the tables? Food was good, but very small portions for the price paid. Please ensure your menus are cleaned with a sanitizer so that you next customer can open a menu that looks clean and secondly train waiters not to lean over the food. I just came in today for dinner (not this lunch advert) GOSH. BEST SERVICE IN MY LIFE. Staff at atasca, you guys are AMAZING!! We felt so cared for lol! And you guys are always happy and welcoming. Always checking if we are okay! And the food was DELICIOUS! Absolutely would recommend to EVERYONE. I really enjoyed my time there! Thank you guys for such delicious food and FANTASTIC service!!! Not to long back we visited Atasca for family supper. And boy oh boy did we enjoy! Our waiters were extremely friendly and helpful, they even went as far as recommending great dishes of the menue. The squid head starter was seasoned really well and light and crispy. The steak was cooked to perfection at medium covered in a cream sauce and fresh salad. The prawns were succulent and the chips crisp. And my little martini was to die for! The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Looking for a new supper spot? I highly recommend them!

Atasca Westville never disappoints. Their hake and veggies has always been my favourite and still is. Their wings are also off the hook, try them you will not regret! Recently I bouht a beef prego roll, I was sooo NOT impressed. It was dry and was hardly dressed. The taste was just not to my liking at all unfortunately. Food was amazing. We had a set menu as we came as quite a large work group, but every person's meal came out at the same time, all the meals where hot and every one of us could not fault the food. Every one of us had nothing but good things to say about their meals. Thank you Atasca for a terrific night out. The food was good but not everything on the menu is spectacular. Some items sound a certain way on the menu but when you receive your order it's disappointing. The service is excellent. Very attentive waiters. The cheesy prawn tail start was delicious. That was the one thing everyone did enjoy. I had a chicken pasta. I can't recall the name. It did taste good but I wasn't blown away by it. The brownie dessert was lovely but the crème brulee left much to be desired. If I'm being completely honest it tasted like a premixed custard and the sugar topping was soft. There was no crack which is the best part of a crème brulee. I'm not sure about other branches but atmosphere in this branch was so bland. It's not a restaurant I'd recommend in a hurry. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 100–150

The entertainment by Sly had us tapping to the beat. The food was good. We expected the peri peri sauce to be hot but it was rather mild and not like we had before, it was a little to acidic. We were fortunate to have three waitrons and they were very friendly and helpful. Keep up the great service. It will be great if you could go back to your original peri peri sauce.
