UPDATE; Went again last night after having a great experience 5 months ago and things have change dramatically, The Gyro meat on the tacos was not fresh, and the gyro meat on my husbands Gyro was definitely not spit sliced, more like frozen Gyro meat. I ordered a prosecco and it was flat, waitress brought me another glass from the same bottle and I explained to her she needed to open a fresh bottle, third glass came, obviously from the same bottle, so I gave up asking (I watched her and never heard the popped of a fresh bottle) they must be suffering from the economy or something - it used to be so good Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, and great food! We had the beef and lamb gyro, moussaka, requested a double cheeseburger with bacon, which they delivered and executed beautifully, and Athenian pasta and shrimp along with several drinks and a round of shots. Everything was quite delicious, and the prices weren't to bad, although the shots were $8 each, which is a bit high. Definitely will return. Maybe won't order shots next time haha Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Been living in the Clear Lake area for a long time, but this was my first visit to Athena’s and it was really good. We ordered the hummus appetizer, which is made in house, & it was very good. The pita bread was fresh and warm. For our meals we tried the chicken kabob and lemon shrimp with spaghetti. It all tasted very fresh and was nicely portioned and plated with care. I ordered a side of the lemon potatoes which were great. Didn’t try any desert this time so will definitely have to come back. The dining room is very clean and really quiet, perfect for a casual evening or a date night. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
Outstanding food prepared by the chef! Can't wait to get back to my room and try the homemade Baklava, it looks amazing. I lived in Crete many years ago and so did the owners so we had a lovely time remembering! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Falafel Plate
Wow. Great food. The Athena’s Corner menus was top notch at an affordable price. All of our dishes were fresh, tasted great, and there’s many healthy options… so you don’t feel guilty when it’s time for their home made deserts. We found this restaurant because a local newspaper advertised their award for best business in Seabrook… and it lived up to the hype! Great staff and great food. This might just be my new favorite Greek restaurant. The ingredients are super fresh. Everything they have on the menu is top notch. From breakfast to dinner it's all delicious. Highly recommend trying their breakfast gyro if you have the chance! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food at this place was amazing. I tryed so many dishes, and they were all amazing. The only thing was the coffee. It was 3/4 grounds and 1/4 coffee Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Best baklava I’ve ever had… New restaurant alert! We just had a phenomenal lunch at Athena's Corner. Judd had the gyro plate, with an added chicken kabob, and I had the Greek lasagna. The food was fresh and cooked and seasoned so well. To finish, he had the chocolate cake (which was unusually light) and I had the BEST baklava I’ve ever had. It was flaky, not too sweet, and not saturated in syrup like most places. I could eat a tray and will be craving it later today...😅😂 If you are by Seabrook and love Greek food, this is a must try. This cute new Greek restaurant is absolutely delish. The spicy feta is a definite must. The mouse cake was rich & not full of cake but lots of mousse. The warm lighting & modern wood furniture added to the calm ambience. The music switched between authentic Greek & Christmas music but wasn’t loud. The service was excellent and our server made some great suggestions.
Nice quaint place. Relatively the same set-up as the previous restaurant but is more homey with warm colors yet modern. Clean and bright. Same with bathrooms and outside. Ordered the Greek salad with gyros meat. Came with a very light oil/wine vinegar dressing that was just enough (I liked) and not your standard Greek dressing. Had big chunky slices of green pepper, tomatoes, black olives and onions (which I opted out of as we are not friends). Nice mixed salad instead of just Romaine. Had a friendly slice of feta on it that you could break up as you so desired. Nice touch. Wasn’t overpowering. However, disappointed that they do not have Peperoncinos - What??!! I come to Greek restaurants for some spicy Peperoncinos! The tomatoes also were a bit of a disappointment - Italians and Greeks should know a good tomato. I know our food source is no longer the best in the USA but I would like a red juicy one instead of a hard, light pink, flavorless one when getting a salad. It’s the little things. I'm not an expert on Gyro meat but it was moist yet crisp which was tasty. It wasn't the best Greek salad I've ever had but also not bad either. So overall I'd give it a B for a lunch salad and the context of the meal. I ordered a side order of tzatziki for my pitta bread. Tasty and the pitta stayed soft and pliable while eating it. Monday/Tuesday half of wine bottle which I like to take advantage of. Had an interesting Greek wine Monograph that had a medium intensity and was pleasant. I do work where the wifi is and they were very accommodating, allowing me to be there for however long (I did say I ordered a bottle of wine, yes? ). The waitress was Haylee and she was the bomb (I believe I’ve seen her in another establishment before). Smart, personable, attentive and perceptive which helped when she’s owning the place as the only wait person. She needs a raise or to become a manager at some point. Didn't have a dessert but may come back at some point as their list was long. I wish them luck and hope they remember to advertise to get folks in the corner of that complex and I can come back to try another dish. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
