They have the best French toast I ever had so far. With the view of the fort and souq, the cafe is an amazing place to relax and have come coffee and pastry. Amazing ! Love the terrace with the view on the mosque and the fort. Try to luban latte but ask it not too sweet. Also the saffron cake is tasty. Love the vibes of this cafe.

Nizwa really lacked a good cafe in the vicinity of the Nizwa Fort, but not anymore. Athar has an absolutely splendid atmosphere, especially in the upper floor, where you get amazing views of the Fort. The menu covers a great deal of drinks and their Frenxh Toast is just amazing. Unquestionably, one of the best coffee shop in the area! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good coffee and spectacular place to spend time on just in time. The atmosphere inside this cafe was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Enjoy the beauty of Nizwa fort view up here. Truly amazing! New coffee shop! They have been around for a while but just opened an amazing new area yesterday. From the old one just near the souq, go up the stairs and turn right. Follow the beautiful walkway to a very modern coffee shop (coffee, ice tea and amazing cakes eg chocolate ice cream, baklava cheesecake). Good for something to do in the evenings. Lovely atmosphere at night

Ambiance is good, as well as service. However, coffee is more expensive than Starbucks and much lesser in quantity. The taste of the cold brew is bland, cappuccino, & latte not impressive. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
