This fish is around 5.7 NZD which is really worthy! It’s fresh and big. The chips are excellent as well. The oyster is a bit costly. If you love fish and chips, you should give it a try. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Ordered fish n chips here tonight based on the good reviews. It was average at best. We had fish and a scoop of chips. The scoop was good sized and the chips were nice but the batter on the fish was extremely soggy, it made the fish very unpleasant and hard to eag. I wouldn't recommend. Overall, Auntys is a lovely Fish and Chip store. Some days, they have been better than others, just now, and then they must get busy and don't drain off the chips properly. The store could do with a little update with color, and the staff sometimes need to remember to clean. The old Bobbys, but the food was disapointing. Has a surprisingly small menu - can only pick the 'fish' or pay by weight from the cabinet, which was also very limited (only three pieces of snapped left when I came in at lunch). It was a busy, and Aunty’s didnt take time to cook the food properly. My fish was undercooked - so soft and slimy that it fell apart as I picked it up - batter on the inside was uncooked. Chips soggy too. The experience was awful at a place that looks so promising. The staff were nice, but under too much pressure to crank out food. My favourite place to stop off at and get fish and chips. It is up there as one of the best in my opinion especially the fish being so fresh and in front of your eyes you seriously have to try out this place. The staff working here are like whanau and understand what your after with their crack up personalities. Absolutely great place for fish and chips! It is obviously a great place, because the locals keep it busy! They only use fresh fish that is delivered daily (never frozen fish...), and it is delicious! Just don’t wait until near closing time to go, because if it’s a busy day, sometimes they will run out of fish. Prices and portions were good. It was busy when we arrived around 5 PM, so we had to wait about 25 minutes for our order, but it was worth it! Kop
