Had our best evening in Cayman and one of the best evenings dining out period. Staff at ave are top notch front to back of house. Sheila, Alan, and Rhea took excellent care of us. Everything about the evening was seamless and warm; and of course the food was excellent. The tuna tartare brioche, lamb rack, and surf&turf were all excellent, as well as all of the desserts. Highly recommend!

First off I need to give a wonderful round of applause to our server Tali. He was very thoughtful, intuitive, kind, welcoming and gave the best recommendations! My wife got the crusted tuna and I got the grouper! They were cooked perfectly and the sauce that accompanies them were the stars of the show. Our son, under 5, was able to get a pepperoni pizza and fries for free since children under 5 eat free at the Kimpton Seafire. To finish dinner off, we were celebrating my wife and sons birthday and Tali brought us the most wonderful chocolate cake. The cake was chocolate fudge with berries and raspberry compote on top! In my opinion, the absolutely best desert. The atmosphere was beautiful and immaculate but not “in your face fancy” where it felt sterile. the sunset views are unparalleled with ceiling to floor glass and windows that brings the splendor of the outdoors to your indoor dining experience. However, for those who prefer dining outside, no worries! There is a deck facing the ocean with misting fans! I certainly cannot attest for every restaurant on the island, but should be in the top places to eat.

Went to dinner for my wife and I's anniversary, and the experience was stellar. They were able to accommodate us pretty handily, and we were surprised at the level of service and attention to detail of the staff. We mentioned in passing to the hostess that it was our anniversary, and the wait staff not only greeted us by name at every interaction, but they made sure to congratulate us for our anniversary. Food was top notch, worth every cent and I will definitely be a repeat customer just to try more things on the menu. 10/10

Holy smokes— we had the most amazing meal here. The staff here is one of a kind and made us feel so special. My husband and I spent the last night of our honeymoon here and I would do it 10 times over. They took care of us, were so kind, accommodating, and just made it such a special night that we will remember forever. Not to mention— the food and drinks were AMAZING. Truly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. If you are in Grand Cayman, this is a MUST.

Had a great dinner here on our first night staying at the Kimpton Seafire. Warmly welcomed and seated, greeted promptly at the table, and service by AP was great all night. We had saganaki and octopus to start, then shared lamb (delicious), potato mash/baked potato , and carrots. Drinks were great (NA butterfly lemonade for me) and two delicious cocktails for my husband. Got the Loukamades to go which didn’t travel perfectly. Should have eaten them there. Overall, wonderful experience!

Great food and excellent service. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner but there are usually spots open at the bar. We were never disappointed with breakfast or dinner during our stay at the Kimpton. The staff really set the bar high and were always very welcoming.

We are staying at kimpton and it's spectacular here. However our dinner at Avencita left us super underwhelmed! I love tapas and we had dinner at another place the night before that was WOW. Here the tapas, were small, overpriced and a bit bland. I had rice and slow cooker beef, my daughter had octopus and and my son had pork. While I love the convince of having dinner at the hotel where I am staying, I would not dine here again.

Had the absolute best experience at Ave. Three members of our party are vegan with also several allergies that can make managing a vegan meal on a tropical island difficult (no avocado, mango, chocolate, bananas) and Ave pulled off some of the best food we have eaten. My vegan teens were thrilled that the menu had several options and that many things that were only vegetarian, Ave was able to make some adjustments to meet our needs. Staff is incredibly friendly and delightful to interact with and the atmosphere is wonderful. Could be romantic for two or also a wonderful upscale family restaurant. There were plenty of kids present, but it didn't feel like a casual chain restaurant either. Dessert was also amazing. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned for others as well. Well done Ave.
